'cept Chillin' How easy was it to purchase, Hare? I'm considering changing to a Warforged... (cos I often play rogue-types and might like to try a barbarian or fighter...)

Pretty simple. On the character creation screen I clicked "Purchase Now" next to the Monk option and it loaded the store. I clicked "buy now" and it told me I didn't have any store points so I clicked "purchase store points". It told me I didn't have any card deatails stiored so I added a card which once done took me back to the default store screen. I clicked on my basket and there the Monk was so I proceded to the checkout and it confirmed my Monk purchased. Closed the store and the Monk was unlocked! Or something like that, anyway!^^ |

| Ah, fair dos.
I did up to the payment part and instead chose paypal. After clicking purchase it took me to the paypal site, I logged in, made the payment and it said it was confirmed (as always). Then it went back to the DDO store to say my paypal account had not been authenticated :S
Random.
I'll try a card then, and see if I can sort my extra points later. Quick question (if you don't mind answering) - what type of card did you use? I have a Maestro card which is accepted online about 50/50, which is why I tend to use paypal..

| Okies well it doesnt accept Maestro, so I've had to verify my Paypal account (apparently using it for 8 years doesnt count ) which will take a coupla days. When that done I'll make a Warforged and try the tutorial and then decide which of the two chars to play. Cheers Mr Wood. | |

| Well, I got too damn impatient. I decided against going for the Warforged and made a Human Barbarian instead: Valeeni Sheytal | |

| Well so far we have
Paladin - Tank / heals Sorcerer - DPS Barbarian - Tank Wizard - DPS Monk - Hybrid role
We're short on healers / rogues.
Also just to be a REAL pain in the Arris I won't be on till Tuesday as I am away from home and on my laptop (which wont run it)

| Clerics are pretty awesome, and it means you could swap jobs between tank and healer with Dugo when you both feel like taking turns. Thats a pretty tidy group actually.... Lots of Damage, Lots of Prot and with Hare playing a Monk, lots of versatility. Only thing we'll need to be wary of is our two "ranged dps" (Sorcerer and Wizard) are fragile so all us melee chaps will have to build a big wall when the hordes come screaming blue murder at our two "glass cannons" after they've just set them alight/frozen them/electrocuted them/blown them up | |

Though I'm sure I'll be doing some group support functions, I'll likely be going down a more Melee combat route tbh. Are we going to try and set up a regular gaming night for this then? |

Shall we all try to meet up for this too, or agree a level cap before meet-up on Weds? I've been sitting on my Monk and waiting for us all to start together at level 1 you see. But I'm easy; I'll go with whatever you guys decide. |

| That wasn't a problem for me, I had many things to do and I still have ... Better wait for everyone than grind solo. DDO isn't that fun soloing in my opinion | |
