So, a date has been set for Q1 for the release of DC Universe Online and I wanna plaaaaay!! Guilds are possible in the game so I say we start one and make our presence known.
Obviously I've got my eye on playing a Villian (no surprises there) purely for the fact I'd like to hang with the Joker and kick Superman's spandexed bum all over Metropolis.
Here's some interesting videos to wet your appetite:

Sony Entertainment you say. Well, I'm not big DC Universe fan, but it looks fun (except too buffed up Joker for my taste). What else can I say?

Looks interesting, but then again - so did Champions Online.....when you looked at the character creation. The actual game was weak and repetitive - hopefully this will do better.
I highly doubt I'll play it personally because I'm gonna be returning to WoW once Cataclysm comes out in December to bridge the gap until TOR comes out.

I'm not uninterested in DC online... Doesn't mean I'll sign in though

Saw the design videos for this on PSN a few months back. I can't say I'm not interested in trying the game but I ain't guaranteeing a commitment to it since SOE aren't very good at redeeming themselves... especially after SWG.

Aye I have to admit I'm hesitant but I get the impression that SOE have a lot riding on this so I'm betting they've gone pretty full out to make sure this ones a winner. I've read a few reviews from people that have played it and they seem pretty positive so far. Let's hope it stays that way.

I'm not an anti-SOE guy and I might give it a go.

That actually looks really interesting, it doesnt look like a standard MMO model though dander areas and classes seem non existant, and like I read about Champions online less defened classes lead to unbalenced ones :/

From what I gather classes appear later on whilst grouping in the form of Powers:
