| While I don't think we should be too hasty in our decision of a Guild Symbol (it is meant to portray us after all) I'm personally concerned that the discussion of this is dragging on way too long. I know we're a creative bunch which will occasionally lead to conflict and disagreements but most of our allies already have some sort of symbol that makes them instantly recognizable. I think this is something we need to get sorted now Great work so far everyone and for whats its worth the latest incarnation gets my vote. | |

| I say we vote People who are frequent posters should have more of a say anyway then people who don't maybe set a time limit of this Friday or saturday? I'm happy with what we have now, Dy did the final tweak | |

| I like that, but can you remove emboss add make right spike a little bit longer because all weight of the sign is in the left. First we have to work on plain shape of logo, it has to look good without effect and very small too. Effects you will add later. | |

| /Agreed on both points. Voting would be a good idea, after all - those people who are here regularly offer the most to the guild pre-launch; if other people want more of a say into how we shape up all they need to do is be here more often Dy makes a very good point - we need a simplified version for things such as forum use (by which I mean small avatars). PS: PJK I'm well aware why you want the "super-duper version" too, hint-hint | |

| Okay Quick question then Do we want it longer like Dy's which has been lengthened on both sides or do we want it my size but with a thicker right prong to make it standout. Also as Mr Lw knows im a bit of a perfectionist and the reason the right prong looks short is becuase it isn't and your imagining it :X I measured them exactly i'll make some more versions then but ~I say we start voting soons | |

| All I want further is the far right spike reconected and the far left and far right ones stretched out to look more like Dy's... Then I'm a happy trando. <-- happiest I could find | |

Agreed. Personally I think both look fantastic but a longer spike on the right made it look a bit more "planetary".

| Great well I'm happy we've got a winner, although you really shouldnt credit it to me I think we really had a huge guild effort here The long design process is in the spoilers But short answer Harl really came though with lots of great images for us and really pushed the process forward coming up with the idea for the look and then refining it taking into account suggestions from everyone SS you had loads of great symbol examples and lore for us and LW who threw a few curve balls in there for us to keep us thinking Dy brought it altogether at the end and I just used photoshop to trace around yor lots work and take the glory for myself I'll make some different sizes of it for us all and I'll take requests for different styles and put it in a resources thread so we can all use the links in other forums and stuff Any design requests? - Spoiler:
After lots of ideas from Harl SS want a planet similar to this Harl then made this which gave us our background Then I messed around with this Leading to a trident by Harl (I think leading he may have just thought of it anyway!) Leading to a basterd child of the two by SS leading to this by Harl I'mproved by Harl! Then I went at a tangent to everyone else Which Harl mege and innovated into this one (well done ) Then we fiddled around with it and SS said he prefered another one lol Until Dy made this An I modified the master copy and we got our Symbol ....about f-ing time

| Awesome! We have our logo! Congratulations to everyone. Seriously, as PJK said, this took one hell of a long time (but I suppose that way we at least know it's what everybody wants!). I personally had a lot of fun with this! Is there some way we can have this on a sort of "Guild Archives"? You know, so when new members come about they know how we got the logo. | |

Actually mate I was going to ask if you had it saved in .png so I can start messing it about with it in PhotoShop and adding it on to little things, such as the Wiki, signatures etc.
