It's no secret that my 2 fave films of all time are Aliens and Predator, so after seeing the trailer for the new game by Rebellion (the original team that did AvP) all I can say is:
WANT!!!
Anyone else getting this? Would be cool to have some mutiplayer buddies online!

Yeah, I'm there.
I spend most of my non-lotro time playing FPS online games like Left4Dead, Killing Floor etc anyway; its one on my other fav gaming genres next to RPGs.
I play the pc one lots..
Oh, no wait, thats not the one
I mean:
(not sure what the little green/red cheating mod thing he has on is, but the Marine's motion sensor still creeps me out to this day)
I even loved the original AVP back on the Jaguar
Great memories of screaming like a little girlie at several points...

From what I've read about it, it looks to be pretty fun, and I'm quite looking forward to it. I'll be getting it for the PS3 when it comes out, hopefully.
Just hope it's better than the last AVP film!

Hehehe! My mate couldn't get rid of me when he got the original AvP 1 & 2 (this was before I had a PC). If only the movies took a leaf out of the video game's/comics book eh?
I'm not normally a big fan of FPS but if this is anything like the original AvP then it shall be purchased. I will have to remember to stock up on pants/nappies though.
So Alien, Predator or Marine? Easy answer for me.....ALIEN!

Hahaha! Well I suppose the Marines playstyle was @%&# scary and great for multiplayer.

I'd be tempted to buy this game and some new underwear if it's as scary as the previous installments. Thought the first one was a classic and well balanced in multiplayer. Playing as the alien made me sick though!

Can from Play.com
Great to see that the "voice of Weyland Corp" (our own good ol' lance H) has been used to do the voice-overs though!

I'll get AVP through STEAM (If I can) but not too worried if its a single-player like ME2 as I won't be talking to anyone in-game anyway
But yeah, a built-in voice chat for AVP is gonna rock
