This one is just a bit of fun, but like the "Inspiration" and "What moments define your character?" threads, it all goes into understanding the building blocks of your characters, how you see them and what they represent to you.
In a nutshell, what I'd like you to do (if you're interested) is imagine your character was in a film, or a more cinematic computer game. When they either make a dramatic entrance into the story or are at a pivotal moment in the film etc, what would be the music in the background - what would be their soundtrack?
One or two bits of music/songs should suffice but if you feel there are more - add them!
To give you an idea of what I mean, here are Aleena's (and no, I'm not expecting a video montage; I just had a lot of spare images about )
ALEENA FEL
"Wretched" by Nine Inch Nails This song is a representation of how far she has fallen, how removed and isolated from everyone that she has become because of it. The song is also a good mix of heavy and fast movements coupled with quieter, more introspective parts. A bit like Aleena herself; it reminds me of her character each time I hear it.
"Aegis" by Johnny Hollow This creepy fairy-talesque track represents Aleena's lost childhood and the dim spark of a good person that lies buried beneath all her dark side corruption. A last, barely visible spark that nevertheless eats at her conscience and stops her from becoming an irredeemable servant of darkness.

Very nice indeed sir and good choice of NIN track.
I'll have to give this some thought but I think I already have the perfect soundtrack for my (as of yet) unamed Bounty Hunter:
Front 242 - Headhunter
"Lock the target, bait the line, spread the net and catch the man!" and "I'm looking for this man to sell him to other man" - you can't really get more Bounty Hunter than that!

Aye, deffo! 'tis very bounty-hunterish and the video is nice and mental! but why does the first part remind me slightly of knight rider? (the music I mean, specifically 00:10 - 00:17.....or maybe its Axel Foley music?)

Easy one! Drazzak is 28 Ghosts IV, Nine Inch Nails -of course-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rG9Lf_OhguU
I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to explain the why, but that I can tell you is definately THE drazzak soundtrack.

There is only really one song that I feel captures the look and atmosphere that Sco generates for me. As a character, he can be pretty two-dimensional, though in a way that kind of captures the visible layer of the human psyche. He's not particularly dark, nor light, he doesn't act through revenge or through hate - he's duty driven, he has a job to fulfill, something that's self imposed. I get the feeling that Rooj would spend a lot of time silently surveying a scene or quietly walking through busy streets with his mind wrapped up in ill conscience.
I choose Easy Muffin by Amon Tobin primarily because this song captures that kind of feel. It's very 'alone'. It works parallel to Sco's relative calmness as a killer, though it's got a kind of classy aura to it.

Heard this today and thought the lyrics fitted in with Skykin's story quite well (at least before he decides to get a grip on his life and turn his back on the Empire). I thought the line "my dreams aren't as empty as my conscience seems to be" summed up Skykin pretty well. I would have put The Who version up but it has an upbeat section toward the end which ruins the mood a little.

Great soundtracks for all of you... Ok, I may like less the rap one as it's not my stuff
I love to write with music so there's gonna be more than one song for sure. As I'm working on the death of So'ran's dad and the end of "innocence", this is the music I chose for this moment. Pretty sad, you feel something is dying, something is broken. The tears of a 12 years old girl who lost her dad. Happy days are over...

This song has been stuck in my head ever since I found it and used it to portray the "Classes" section in D-RP and while reading through wiki pages (and doing RP with Dy today) I suddenly realized why...
....with its mixture of upbeat and tradgedy it reminds me of Gideon Larrs, a.k.a "The New Guy"
.....and for The man he becomes after joining E.P.O.C.H.

I know that picking up Regge for Leta is bit strange, but this song refect scratched soul of character, the broken mirror reflecting her unhappy life. That's what is happening in the core of her heart and maybe it will never be used in the game, but when I think about her background I always see end credits with this song.
And quite nice translated lyrics
Spoiler:
Soldier Translation by katya
I'm a soldier I haven't slept in five years And I have dark circles under my eyes Haven't seen them myself But so I've been told I'm a soldier And I have no head (*) They have beated it off with their boots Yo-o-o, commander shouts Commander's mouth is teared open Because a grenade... White cotton wool Red cotton won't heal a soldier
I'm a soldier Unborn child of war I'm a soldier Mom, take care of my wounds I'm a soldier Soldier of a country forgotten by God I'm a hero Tell me of which novel
Oh..oooh..
I'm a soldier It vexes me when I have only one bullet left It's either me or him The last wagon Moonshine There are millions of us In the UN
I'm a soldier And I know my job My job is to shoot So that the bullet doesn't miss The ennemy's body This reggae is for you Mother-War Are you happy now?
I'm a soldier
I'm a soldier Unborn child of war I'm a soldier Mom, take care of my wounds I'm a soldier Soldier of a country forgotten by God I'm a hero Tell me of which novel
(in English) I'm a sol-dier I'm a sol-dier I'm a sol-dier I'm a sol-dier I'm a sol-dier sol-dier sol-dier-dja
I'm a soldier Unborn child of war I'm a soldier Mom, take care of my wounds I'm a soldier Soldier of a country forgotten by God I'm a hero Tell me of which novel
(*) Having no head is a Russian expression meaning someone that's irresponsible. Here they are playing with the words
In case of Raza, I dig old Dope song, in past exploited on you-tube more than "Requiem for a Dream". But this time it's not about aggressive sound of it, but lyrics. The text is just perfect capturing of Raza's problem with authorities, Sith masters and every single person that tries to bound him in any way. Cute video BTW ^^

In stark contrast to Gideon, Ree'tak is far more upbeat, lively, optimistic and just a tiny bit unhinged. She's a mix of serious and mischievous, and my choice of song reflects that.
An old favorite band of mine (and about as near to 'Emo' as I'm ever likely to get), this Birthday Massacre track is off their new album, but the combination of slightly bouncy music mixed with lyrics like 'I can't decide which one of us will leave here alive' reflects the Twi'lek Imperial Agent perfectly...

It's late and I have nothing else to do other than go to sleep or rummage through different posts here while thinking up a good background story for my character, so I'll just post stuff in funny threads like this one.
Was kinda hard to find something that I feel describe Fray, but I had this one:
It kinda represent the feeling she has when she's alone? I dunno, I just wanted something calm and nostalgic.

What a kickas5 concept, Random! I'm seriously considering creating a STYC thread for each major (main) character in the Guild so people can put up songs to express what impression they get, as you have done here - Superb idea mate
