| This forum is great for getting to know all the players in the Guild, but what about the Characters? whats their story?
How about telling us a little bit about your characters? I'll start by throwing Ree'tak to the wolves:
REE'TAK, TWI'LEK SMUGGLER
Personal Back-History:
Ree originally comes from a small community in the continent of Lienru, near the border of the Nightlands; the dark-orbited portion of the planet Ryloth. An orphan, her parents’ identities still remain unknown to her, something which infuriates and intrigues the young Twi’lek in equal measure. Her earliest memories stem from childhood among many other young Twi’lek girls, all under the guidance and supervision of Chir’da’tak, a motherly but stern Twi’lek who ran an “orphanage”. Groomed from a young age to be a dancer and courtesan of sorts, Ree’s sheltered lifestyle meant that she knew no different and would have grown into the same service as most of Chir’da’tak’s ‘dancing girls’. A turning point in her life came in the form of a pod-racer that was dragged into their small community for repairs. The pilot was unharmed but the vehicle itself would take some time to repair. Ree (then aged 16) found not only the pilot but the vehicle itself truly fascinating and would sneak away from her duties in the orphanage at every given opportunity to study them both, listening to great and fantastical stories of dangerous high-speed pod races out in the Nightlands. Two weeks after its arrival when the pod-racer and its pilot were due to leave, Ree collected some basic belongings and hid aboard the pod-racer. By the time the pilot (whom she would later discover was called “Daron Sharn, a ‘Human’) discovered his passenger they were already deep within the Nightlands at one of the many illegal pod-races among the beautiful but dangerously distracting ‘crystal forests’. Knowing that it would be too time consuming to return Ree to her village – especially if he was to make the race – Daron kept Ree around but on the provision that she helped keep the Pod clean, refueled and ready to go. To her, this seemed like an entire different life, and she readily agreed. After the race (in which Daron did not win, but came a respectful third) Ree requested that she might remain with Daron who had begun to notice some of the other racers noticing his “attractive young friend”. Daron, who recognized the usefulness of keeping an attractive twi’lek at his side but also worried to her welfare should he turn her away, agreed. The two became good friends over the next few months until Daron was due to head off-world and refused to take Ree with him. Her dreams shattered, Ree accepted her fate but said she wished to remain at the pod-racing. Though he never said where he was going, nor his reasons why; Daron came to realize he respected the young Twi’lek and her spirit. Before he left, he entrusted his Pod-Racer into her care (making it official with the race organizers), gave her his spare sidearm and wished her luck (also secretly arranging a couple of the more reliable racers to watch out for her in his absence). Then, he was gone. Ree never saw the human again but still acknowledges he gave her the start in life she so desperately needed. In the following four and a half years Ree learned to pilot the Pod-Racer she had been given and even became adept at it. In time, she became more than adept; her natural dexterity coupled with her quick reactions made her into a good pod-racer and she slowly began to make money in the races. The “sponsor” of the races, a Twi’lek crime-lord called Rethic Zann (part of the Zann Consortium) noticed Ree’tak and her abilities and watched her career in pod-racing unfold. Whilst she was becoming a well-known racer on the local circuit, she didn’t seem to spending out on her winnings, something Zann found odd until Ree came to him shortly after her 20th birthday saying that she would like to retire from the pod-racing business, and asked him for a loan to purchase a starship leaving her pod-racer and almost all of her winnings to date as a deposit. Sad to see her leave (which should be interpreted as ‘sorry to see a source of revenue dry up’) Zann nevertheless provided Ree with a 23,000 credit loan which she used to purchase and re-fit a second-hand Gthrok 720 Freighter. Within a month, Ree had the ship ready for space-flight and had purchased a basic droid for co-piloting purposes. She left her home of Ryloth behind and headed starward with the purpose of finding her old friend, Daron Sharn………..
For anyone who owns Star Wars RPG (Saga Addition), here is Ree's character sheet as a Level 1 Scoundrel:

| Excellent idea for a thread, and great background story! I shall have to get to work on Creed's as soon as I can. I would write one of for my Falleen character, but I want as little known about him as I can for the time being. I did have one up for him for a while on swtor-wiki, but since then a lot has happenened to the character so I deleted it until he's ready to surface again. But alas I shall get to work on Creed's as soon as I get some time. | |

| Yeah I think knowing too much about Falleen would loose a bit of him somehow. | |

| I really liked the backstory for Ree'Tak. It's a lot shorter than mine......I always think that i don't put enough information into my bio and before i know it, i have created a 6 page character description. I can't help it haha. | |

| The more info the better if you ask me Nex; I was a bit pushed for time but will try to pad it out for the Wiki (prob still not quite as extensive as yours, but you bio makes a really good template for people to follow!)
And thanks for the kudos btw - right back at ya.

| A very interesting thread and story there Lunarwolf, kudos to you! I would prefer not to talk about my character until some races have been given the thumbs up. I also prefer the game to make my character, not myself. Here's the little you should know: Skursir A hotheaded, battle ready, fighting soldier. Born in a hostile environment and brought into the Republic Special Forces as a Demolitions and Weaponry specialist. Although quite young and inexperianced (at the beginning of the game), he is a deadly warrior, able to take on an Acklay bare-chested and still ask for seconds. Eventually, he winds up as a Bounty Hunter (kicked out, leaving or betraying the Republic is yet unknown) and is hired by Blasters for Hire as serious muscle. More will come. | |

| Yep, I got the PM, thanks Sureshot, I won't let you down!
So yes, I suppose Skursir is going to be the 'Tank' of the guild. I'm hoping he can be a Trandoshan. This is because of the fact they are natural bounty hunters and mercs, and quite scary too!

| CARRAIN, The BlackShark
[Perior to Memory loose]
The street down below were full with all kind of specis and beings, It was in the middle of the day, The sun were set high apon the sky,
Far away at a long tall building, akind of a skyscraper building, At a shadowly corner of the building on a large pipe, kneels a figure down, holding up it´s weapon against his shoulder and the gunpoint towards his target.
Cerrain smirks widely behind his helmet as his target gets into his sight, he moves his finger towards the trigger and fires off, his target gets hit and a chunk of its head seperates from the rest of it, Seeing how his targets bodyguards runs from cover he simply choose to ignore them He slowly and carefully steps back in low stance, When he reach the most heavly shadowly he stands up completely, His black robe and hood, His armour is also compete black also his Helmet, he slowly leanse against the wall taking breath,
The excitment from his work never fails, Lucky there is a ladder right infront of him, Leading into the building however.
"Time to get away from here, He mutterd"
He graps the ladder and climps up apon it, As he reach the top, a Heavy metal Locker is in the way, he cant move it, It must be an escape route if it would start to burn inside the bulding, He moves his rifle into his back, with his free hand, After that, Its time for cutting trought the heavy metal thing in the way,
He moves his hand close to the metal thing, and the Blue laser starts to cutt trough it, When its done he moves the metal thing away and climps up,
The room is dark, By the look of it, It does indeed seem it has been used for not so long ago, Apprently by the cleaning stuff,
He moves silently until the reach the door, pressing himself at it, He takes up his laserpistol from his belt, as he slowly opens the door, People are at the hall next to it, he peers carefully out from the room and tries to figure out a way to get all these people out from the building, Without knowing of him, He could try to start the fire alarm,.. But how?.. He searched for anything that could be used, to start a fire, or start the Alarm. Until he stared at the wall, a kind of a pilar with pipes, he grinned to himself, As he reached for his rifle. he opend the door abit more, and steped back into the hall, He kneeled down to his legs, and moved up his rifle to his shoulder and sight at his face. On the pipe it said. Oxygen He pressed the trigger and the shot was fired, The pipe was hit and a hole were created in a instant. The people around all stopped doing what they did Not sure what has happend, Shocked, He sighted, and fired again. This time it went trough it for real. An explosion set off. People now heard the shot, started to scream and yell, But as the explosion emegered from the pipe,
He ran from his hiding place, holding his rife at his hand, Clicking it into autofire mode, The expolsion shaked the whole building, He could hear how people all around screamed in supprise as the expolsion. or from seeing him,
The Elevators right infront opend as people stormed out, He kicked someone out from his way, Someone bumped into him, But he paid no heed who it was, Just countined to ran, He ran into an evelator, Pressed the buttom to the middle of the building, As the evelator went up towards At its distenation, The door flow open. Behind the door stood two people who steeped backing after seeing him fully-armed, He ran out from the building and away, His way out from the building were the building next to it, He would need to get rid of this Criminal over-sized planet, Very, Very quickly now.
He shot trough the window and yet again, it was a ladder, He looked how far the ladder streached out and he saw that the Ladder could be used to reach the other building. The ladder were bolted stuck into the building however, Which would need to be changed, The ladder were constructed to be used as a gateway to another safer place in need for an emgerancy Like this. He grinned,
he looked to his side were the window where, it was big enough to roll a couch or anything else in that size out from it, He leaned against the wall, With his rifle raised up. Loaded up a powerful beam, And shot it off. The bolts which were hit were seduced to ash, and lossend, And he did the rest with the otherside. The ladder fell down apon the building, and his escape route were done, He ran apon the ladder and into the building.
As he stormed into This new building roof, He suddenly fell down into a hole, It happend so fast that he werent aware of that he fell until he hit the ground, And blackned out, His vision became blury, and his only though, "Oh Shit". |

I agree Harlequin. My character will be of average background, bit shady in a lightweight sort of way. It's the gaming and roleplaying to come that will mark my character and add the remarkable.I tend to start with a personality, a world view and lashings of naivety/misconception! |
