| Why not play a Sith like myself, following the light path, that way we can if ye wants explore the ancient ruins and tombs on Korriban together and still be part 'o this guild 'o hunters! | |

This guild i want the alt to be in looks good, and i kinda prefer the Jedi, of course if i am sadly not allowed to have a alt in that guild i will probably play a sith, i just wana find out if alts are allowed in other guilds first.

| Not really if you read some 'o what the devellopers have said it clearly states that there are "Sith" who do not wish to follow or agree with the path of the Emperor and try to change things from within!
Besides i have already somewhat explained why i cannot be a Jedi in my bio, think it makes a bit sense that way i hope...

| Well I've got no problem with people having alts in other guilds so it's fine by me. After all you're paying for the game so it's up to you how you play. As long as this character IS an alt, then there's no problems at all from this end. I just don't really want to get in game and have my members spend all of the their time playing in another guild as I'm sure you can understand. Luckily with the dual faction idea going ahead, most of the members will be spending most of their time in either the sith or republic departments on here anyway, so I'm not sure if they'd have time to play in another guild too! But yeah as far as I'm concerned, thats fine mate. I will ask that everything that is said on these boards stays on these boards though. For roleplaying purposes alone we are indeed a very secretive unit. p.s. This guild wouldn't be the Praxeum would it? | |

| Order of Ashla and the Praxeum are the same people. They changed their name a while back to the Praxeum which I personally think it a better name anyways. If you look at the Praxeum's website you can see the web addy still says 'Ashla' in it hehe - http://ashla.org. Glad to hear your main will stay with us though, I'm sure you won't regret it. Nah we just had a debate a while ago about letting other peoples alts in the guild, which I think most people are against. Obviously this kind of thing can't be controlled but our main concern was that if we allow them in, they may not be active enough in the guild. Still, good choice with the Praxeum, they're clients (allies) of ours anyway so yeah they're a good bunch. | |

Whilst I can'y say I 'know the answer' I have done the sensible thing and checked the guild rules to see if there's an answer there. And there's not. So while you wouldn't technically be breaking any rules by signing up an alt with another guild, I would still advise you think carefully about how much time you will be spending on him/her. Don't forget, we want our members to be " very active" and as you've said you'll likely be playing two mains (one Republic and one Empire) with Blasters for Hire will you have time to play an alt elsewhere? If you can keep up attendance here I don't see it being a problem, although most guilds won't like the idea of you treating them as a 'runner up' coming secondary to your 'proper' guild. And if you 're honest and tell them you're a member of BfH then you would in a way be almost like an ambassador. Needless to say you'd have to be on your best behaviour at all times as you'd be the unofficial face representing our guild. So there's a lot to think about and if you can manage all that I would say go ahead. Edit: I see whilst I was answering the Boss beat me to it! So go with what he says! lol |

no these guys are different, there the order of the Ashla, they were created recently and only have a few members, they didnt know the Praxeum used to have almost the same name, it even says of there thread. But yes it would just be a alt i would go on once in a while to rp a bit, maybe 30 mins every day or two i would be on it, not that often but often enough to stay a bit active enough there.

| Red has brought up some interesting points there and I do fully agree with what he had to say. One of the reasons I ask that everything that happens on this guild, stays in this guild is because if we do run in trouble (which I'm sure we won't) then I'd prefer it if the whole server doesn't know! It could give us a bad name and possibly harm our chances of making more alliances within the community. As you can probably already tell, alliances are a key component in this guild and one that I take very seriously. The reason I haven't made it an official rule though is because I don't have the right to govern what you do when you get the game. It's entirely down to the player at the end of the day, but if I feel people aren't being active enough then of course I'll have to take action. Red's right, there is a lot to consider but if you can manage it then best of luck.

Ah ok my apologies. I clicked that link but it didn't work for me so I couldn't see who they were. As I say thats fine with me. One other thing I will ask is that it doesn't clash with our guild events though. If we have for example, a raid planned or an important RP event then I'd prefer it if all members were present. We ran into a few problems in my old guild where people would let us down on events at the last minute with no warning and understandably, people were pissed! By the way, is this Jedi guild a european one? If so we could always try and form an alliance with them.

| Thanks mate. Well I've checked what country some of their members are from and it appears they're from the U.S. So even if you did have an alt on there you probably wouldn't be on at the same time as us anyway, so no time clashing. I hope you're stocked up on Red Bull though! LOL! | |
