Website suggestion

I noticed today when I was trying out different browsers because of the login problem that the two 'broken image' icons always visible in IE within the External Links widget...



...actually show up properly in Firefox. Which was a surprise since I'd never seen them before and had assumed it was just a problem that was waiting to be fixed.

So just in case you Officer/Leader type bods didn't know, IE doesn't show the above icons and looks a bit unprofessional and ugly. Any chance we can get these fixed to work in IE at all?

I've just tried them on both and they work fine. It's probably the site being touchy again.

Really? In IE? That's very odd because on both my desktop and my laptop, and my other half's desktop and laptop, and (he says just giving it a test) using safari on my iPod... Those two icons show up as broken image links.

Yep they're working in both Firefox and IE for me. Saying that I've had several of the images not appear in the widget for me in the past. Might be an idea to do away with them completely if they keep on playing up.

It might be the .ico extension. You could grab crop and save as a .png, upload to photobucket and point to them there and that would most likely solve the problem.

I tried that before a while ago and I don't think it worked. When I get my PC back though I'll have another go. By the way if the favicon still working in the browser? I was having trouble with that before.

Yeah, the favicon's fine at my end.
