| Woah.
I really hope Redwatch has something good planned because right now, because they've blown the competition right out of the water!

| You've only just visited?? It's been like that for aaaages. It's basically a HoD themed out-of-the-box website from 2Advanced Studios. Very nice though, I agree. And sorry Harl, but my talent lies in static imagery. Not sure I could rival an expertly crafted site made by a team of professionals even if I knew the programs! Maybe extra cookies for any member here who recruits a bod with rich media skills!? lol |

| Very nifty why can't i have a useful job like that Btw I used to tinker in this sort of stuff, flash animations and the like, I never did websites cause they never interested me really but the principles are the same and I've seen a few tutorials on how to do them. Anyway if you guys were looking for something in particualr I might be able to oblige, don't worry though I'm not planning on making a fully animated site like that | |

| I wonder whether we could benefit from a front-page as well? At the moment we are just a forum which is ace and all, but what about a page a bit like the SWTOR one that has some sort of neutral background and then lets you go to either a "Republic" or "Empire" page with Bios, Rosters and the like showing all the characters and stuff, with both having a forum link to here? (or a forum link on the main page before you go to either Rep/Emp?)
I know the forum is our core, but it'd be nice to have a front end with pictures and database info and what-not.
Thing is, do we have any web-designers among us? (I know Red does a stunning job with static images but would I be correct in assuming you're an artist at heart and not a web-designer mate?) If we had to hire a someone to do it, would anyone fancy chipping in? (If not, I'm willing to front the money for this....assuming it wont cost me a mortgage!)
I throw my idea to the Wolves....

| Thank you for al the comments. As the "Technical Engineer" of the guild I appreciate it.
Just to give feed back on a few comments, I have never made a website before, or used flash before. I used Youtube and 2Advanced studios website in order to recreate the areas I liked. Flash is not as complicated as it appears and there are many many tutorials on how to do it.
If you are considering a website, I highly recommend it, the exposer and recognition it has brought us is more than we could have ever hoped for. In designing one, I recommend always keep in mind your creating it for non-members.

| I tried to understand Flash but got a little confused / bored by it (though to be fair I was trying to learn it on FlashMX Pro so it may have been overly-complex :S) - got all respect for your work though! I have to admit I would like to learn it for the more basic stuff (like mini animations and what-not) so I may end up trying again in the future. If that's the case I might try to bend your ear a little if thats ok? Nice website in general though! Thanks for adding the "Skip Intro" button because I have a VERY slow internet connection at work so that helped a lot (By the way, I did leave a message on your "Site Comments" because I noticed a type-o... have you seen that?) | |

| yes you did, I have not had the chance to do any updates to the server in a while.
The leaders keep me quite busy.
I do however have the e-mail archived for when I do the next build.
