| Yeah, they said that you can equip your companion with different "packs" like DPS dealer, healer, CC or Tank. It might be tanking companion and DPS (Commando) Trooper. I know that this Bounty Hunter girl companion have something like stun dart for example. | |

| If they make Zeltron a playable race I'll be happy =3 An overly attractive and sexual pheromone bomb that live for partying or fighting, hell yeah?!
Ftm though my only concern is whether Fray should be a human or a kickass awesome Chiss, but I won't be able to decide before I get to the character creation screen =(

| Well technically Wooliepedia puts Zeltron down as 'Near Human' (SOURCE), so you could just do the same as I'm doing with Aleina and use the "human" option then fiddle with the customization a bit. If they allow outlandish skin tones for humans (such as blues, reds and purples) you're pretty much sorted! | |

Especially that BioWare mentioned about altering conversation options under influence of gender/race/and past choices of the character!

| Incidently, not sure how 100% accurate it is (as with most SWTOR info ) but Wookiepedia have the following list as playable races: * Chiss * Human * Miraluka * Mirialan * Rattataki * Sith Pureblood * Twi'lek * Zabrak However we also know from a reliable source *cough* BETA *cough* of at least one other playable 'race' (though its technically a modification on an existing race). | |

| Just eyed this thread on the official boards which claims that the latest EU PC Gamer mag has the final species listing. Read on for more info.. - Spoiler:
Human: Trooper, Knight, Consular, Smuggler, Agent, Inquisitor Bounty Hunter. Cyborg: Trooper, Smuggler, Agent, Warrior, Bounty Hunter Rattataki: Agent, Inquisitor, Bounty HUnter Chiss: Agent, Bounty Hunter Mirialan: Trooper, Knight, Consular, Smuggler. Twi'lek: Knight, Consular, Smuggler, Inquisitor. Zabrak: Trooper, Knight, Consular, Smuggler, Agent, Inquisitor Bounty Hunter. Pureblood: Warrior, Agent Miraluka: Knight, Consular
If there's truth in this then I have to say I'm VERY dissapointed. Star Wars has far more interesting species to offer than those listed, even if I do like 2 or 3 of them on there and the idea of a Chiss or Cyborg BH is appealing. Where's Togruta for example? They're pretty darned Human looking I'd say.

| Yup, thats the list I've been working with for a while.
Part of the major problem is that Star Wars has hundreds of Species (245 to be exact) and most mmos have a total of 6-8 races at launch, and it'd be a pain to fit even a fraction of them in. I agree that they are some pretty bizzare choices in some cases.
While I'll admit one of the races isnt a race at all (!) and that I'm dissapointed that most of my favourites aren't there, I still think 9 is a pretty good listing for an mmo at launch.

| Yeah I guess. I just thought by the way they were banging on about how customizable our characters would be we'd see a lot more. To miss out iconic species like as I said before Togruta though is a bit bonkers! | |

| I'm more afraid about character customisation, be it the body customisation or the armor/clothing, than of the various species. BW told us we won't have many species because of their storytelling policy. Well, they didn't but that's how I understood it. | |
