Hey guys I mentioned this in what are you playing thread but I'll do it here as well, Steam are doing a 5 day long Gaming Deals thingie, basically there knocking upto 75% of games in thier shop. ie Left 4 Dead 2 is 25% off so is Dragon age Dead space is 50% off and KOTOR is 75% off meaning its now only £1.49
Thing is these offers rotate every day so new games will be up there at reduced prices and these will go back to normal, so if check them out now as in 2 hours they'll swap over. i'm expecting Mass Effect and L4d1 to come up on one of the days so I'm going to be out of pocket soon

Its not the best way to reward preorderers of L4D 2, bring out a deal what 2 weeks after its release making it cheaper ?

I mean modders are trying be port the old maps and characters onto the new game so all the content is avalible But I might as well get it for all the custom maps it has anyway

There are some AMAZING custom maps.
L4dmods.com and l4dmaps.com have some awesome ones, whole campaigns in fact.
Check out "Night Terror" campaign and the rather spiffing "Infection FM" survival map
It plays a random track each time, like Disturbed, Johnny Cash... its just silly as hell.

Its more good buy on Steam this week Kalypso Media Digital have all there games from 25%- 50% lower price then before only to friday. Its mainly Adventure games and Strategy games.
