[Closed X-Guild RP] Pathway to Stone - Sith'ari Path & EPOCH Only

Nodding at Jylan as he approached with the stretcher, the Hapan darksider reached into her cloak and pulled out a green-tinted visor. Opening it, she looked at it for a second before putting it on, the green tint of the lens shielding her obviously red eyes. They were going to meet Jedi and she knew they would be able to sense the teachings of Boga in her - something the Jedi referred to as 'The Dark Side' - but she saw no reason to elevate their anxiety through her appearance.

Lifting the hood over her dark hair and clasping the cloak shut at the front, her lightsaber sat clipped to her belt ready to be drawn at a moments notice.

"Excellent work, Agent Trell. I will take my place next to the Sith'ari during the negociations. It is unlikely the Jedi here will suspect me of not being one of their number and it will give me a chance to observe things from a good standpoint."

She had every reason to be confident in the abilities of all of the Agents and although Jylan could be prone to wise-cracking, his record in missions was impeccible.

"With The Thumb accompanying Darth'Ishad in stealth recon you'll be my main backup until we rendezvous with Skursir and the advance party. I'm relying on you."

The comment wasn't meant to imply any doubt in her mind, but was rather more of a comment to clarify his immediate role. Although she was never uncomfortable giving direct orders, Aleina felt they were best reserved for combat. Things had not come to that yet.

Walking up and standing next to the Sith'ari she nodded to them respectfully as The Aurillia came in to land.

"Well let you know if there's trouble." Assuring Aleina that her back was covered.

"And as good as i am at sneaking, i don't much care for it, just thought id throw that out there." he said with a chuckle. The rage was building up in the kaleesh being fully corrupted by the dark side has taken its toll on him, it seems as if he needs to keep fighting or gets weaker.

-Things wont end well here, you are sith and they are jedi, end of story. They wont care what your mission is, all they know is that your the enemy and they will do all they can to survive.-

Voices from Khronos ring through Darth'Ishads head as if he was right in front of him.

The Jedi and Sith met in between the Temple and the Transport Craft, any observer could see the tension between the two parties.

Master Darnas stared at the group of Sith. Their own party outnumbered them, although he knew very well that numbers did not count for everything. He allowed the Sith at the head of the group to speak, and watched sourfully as he saw Klahn brought out on a stretcher. For a moment, he wondered if the Padawan was really worth bargaining with the Sith for. The Twi'lek had sometimes talked about becoming a Martyr for the Jedi during some of his adrenaline fueled rushes. But the thought only lingered for a second.

"Master Yur Darnas of the Temple of the Guiding Light" Darnas began, thumbs hooked on his belt, remaining motionless in defiance of any handshake. "You can spare the pretty talk. Do not hide that you are scouts for your wretched slavemaster Emperor, and if by some chance you are not, you are still Sith and you pollute our sanctuary with your dark presence..."

He strode a couple of feet closer, noticing with dismay that he was slightly shorter than this Vaelyndor. He scowled, "Let me tell you. Because of you", pointing with his palm, "we were exiled from our home in the Republic. We retreated to our ancient homeworld. Pure. Free from loose moral and most importantly, the dark side of the force. And now you come. We have been found. Do not hide that others will find us too." He made a small gasp of air, working himself up. "So here's our offer. You give us the Padawan, and you leave this world. Tell your Emperor that we are here, and that we are strong".

Vaelyndor maintained his composure but smiled inwardly at the words of Master Darnas. As he had sensed earlier, despite the Jedi's galactic reputation for peace and serenity, this man was angry. More importantly, he was afraid. Doubting the band of Sith'ari and Agents posed much of a physical danger to the temple, it became immediately clear that the discovery of the Jedi's homeworld to the Sith Empire had them on edge.

"I, nor any of my group, have the ear of the Emperor. Even so, revealing such information as the location of the Jedi homeworld to the Sith Empire would only prove counter-productive to the goals of the Sith'ari."

The Executor made a show of Looking around at the assembled warriors, eclipsed by the pristine temple behind them, before continuing.

"Your numbers and strength of arms do not concern us, nor will they be recounted in any Imperial intelligence. We are here not on matters of war, but of research. We received a rather unusual transmission from this planet, a location near here was provided by your brash youngling as a probable point of origin. We wish only to conduct our investigation with your blessings, or at the least without your interference. Once we have gathered what data we may, we will depart this place with the utmost haste."

Vaelyndor pauses, looking the other man directly in the eyes not in an attempt to intimidate him, but as an equal.

"We did not come here with malicious intent. The only aggression between us has been initiated by your people. The decision as to whether or not there will be continued violence is up to you. But know this, Master Darnas; this investigation will be conducted with, or without, the Jedi's approval."

As the negotiations to place Darth'Ishad remaind in hiding waiting for somthing to go wrong, which he felt was going to happen. Jedi dont care if we are from the empire or not, we are sith and that means we are the enemy.

"What do you think is going to happen?" he asked the one the call "the thumb".

As Vaelyndor conversed with the Jedi who called himself 'Darnas', Aleina scanned the other Jedi that surrounded him, watching their body and eye movements. Many were on edge - some more than others - but they all were kept on Darnas' tight leash, like good little Kath Hounds.

As agreed she remained silent and kept in the background behind the Sith'ari, but kept her hand close to her Lightsaber just incase. Her cloak was wrapped tightly around her, only the white of her skin and the green of her visor could be seen beneath the cowl she had put up to cover most of her features.

Her experience with Jedi had been limited, but had almost always been violent, and although she had faith in the Sith'ari to keep the peace, she did not trust the Jedi to do the same...

Master Darnas scanned the Sith. Dispising what he saw. In most of them he could make out the obvious signs of corruption in their eyes. Others had their features better concealed but it didn't matter. These people were corrupted.

"Let us say that you are not with the Emperor. That by some fortune you are not hounds of his anger and hate." Darnas began to pace up and down in front of Vaelyndor to be witnessed by everyone in the vicinity. "You bear the name of Sith'ari. And so you are Sith. Each of us sense your malicious aura. And so you are Sith. You even dress like the wretchs and I'm willing to bet the cloak off my back that your blades are coloured that damned red!"

He ended he motions only to spit at the ground at the Sith's feet. Darnas sensed unease amongst his group and indeed, were he to turn around he would see that a couple wore creased faces in a blend of surprise and worry, but half had found the speech uplifting and were now more than ever prepared to drive the Sith'ari off Tython at his word.

"Research from the Sith had always led to trouble. How many Sith claimed the deaths of those stationed at Korriban to be for research of that barren rock? How many have died in the pursuit for your holocrons?" Darnas sighed, if out of weakness, sadness or pain, it was impossible to decypher. He met the eyes of the Sith. "You will give us a reason to permit your scavaging through our sacred lands, or you will be dealt with" Solid negotiating strength returned to Darnas' voice. "And do not bother to use Klahn as this bargaining chip as he alone should be worth your three bounty hunters, or are you Sith as shallow as your Imperial counterparts, hm?"

As Darnas paced and ranted, Vaelyndor felt a brief moment of frustration at the shorter mans determination to block the investigation. It was during this tirade, however, that the Executor saw his chance. Allowing the Jedi Master a moment to catch his breath after he had finished speaking, the young man began by speaking towards Darnas.

"Some of what you say is true, Master Darnas, I will concede that much. The Sith'ari, as our name implies, has its origins within the Sith Empire, and as such is greatly influenced by Sith culture. Most of us began our training under Sith mentors, so yes, what you sense of the Dark Side within us is real. What makes us different from the rest of the Empire is that although we embrace the Dark, we also seek to understand and accept the Light, and through this mutual understanding of the Force; Enlightenment."

"It is true that in some cases, the persuit of knowledge has led to violence and destruction. It is also true that many more applications of this same knowledge has been turned to humanitarian ends, to improve the standard of living of billions of people across the galaxy. Knowledge in and of itself is not inherently good or evil, it is the will of those who gain that knowledge who dictate what becomes of it."

"As for a reason to allow us to investigate this matter, Master Darnas, you yourself have given much more reason than I ever could." Vaelyndor broadens his gaze to address all those assembled, specifically to encompass the other Jedi present. "The Sith prides themselves on embracing emotions, specifically anger, hate, and fear. The Jedi, consequently, on peace and serenity; for letting go of emotions and not allowing them to cloud their judgment. Is it not ironic, then, that we who have our origins within Sith space have maintained our peace while you, Jedi Master Darnas, parade up and down this platform seething with rage and fear? If nothing else allowing us this brief time here will allow you to gain some measure of insight into what we stand for and what we believe, and in so doing, help alay your own fear and trepidation."

The Executor pauses, his voice going slightly darker but still loud enough for all those assembled to hear. "However, there is a much more pressing reason, especially for the Jedi, to allow us a brief time here. The transmission we received, the one that brought us to you, came near this location and specifically targeted us at our base on Korriban. A transmission it seems that many of your order has not the faintest clue about, and yet was able to reach us halfway across the galaxy. It is possible this transmission was sent from an area on your beloved home-world that is strong with the Dark Side, hence cloaking itself from you and yet reaching out to us who are more receptive to its call. Regardless of rationale, is not even the possibility of such a location of paramount importance for you and your fellow Jedi to know about, much less to investigate?"
