Seeing as we have a few of us giving the Beta a go (BOOYAH!) I thought it would make sense to make a GC thread.

Please use this thread to leave your thoughts and comments on the game, what you like and dislike, post any screenshots / vidoes etc.

Please note that the NDA for Rift has been lifted by Trion Worlds Inc so you have nothing to worry about ^^

Also if you could post down the following info about the character you play in the game here I will update the original post.

Oh and lastly! if you have STEAM don't forget to add "Play Rift Beta" to your games list so the rest of us know you're online and in Telara.

Im going Assassin

How are you planning to build your Assasin, Agokuz? or are you waiting to try out the beta tomorrow and see?

I'm guessing you will go with the Rogue Calling, but then you need to pick a Soul from the following list:

* Nightblade (dps + magic)
* Ranger (pet class)
* Bladedancer (dps, melee - quick strikes)
* Assassin (stealth + poisons)
* Riftstalker (elemental resistances, mobility)
* Marksman (sniper)
* Saboteur (explosives expert)

Even if you do choose Assassin, you need to choose 2 more souls within the first few levels.

My first character was a Bladedancer / Nightblade / Riftstalker. Lots of DPS, but not much armour.

assassin with bladedancer and marksman i think i don't know but im downloading the *cough*cough* RIft patch

I've changed my character quite significantly (including his name ) so I've updated my info on the o.p. to reflect this.

Due to the fact I was having way too much fun playing Baram - and the fact he's the character I intend to play at release, I've decided I don't want to repeat myself once the game goes live and would prefer it to be "all fresh"

So I've made a different character for Beta; a healer.

Her name is Kotook

Anyway, note to Rift beta players:

Due to having a lot of 'logging in issues' (48% / 89% anyone? lol), Trion worlds have extended Beta 5.

It will now run until Saturday 29th, till 4pm uk time.

when i was playing i went afk in a camp for a while to watch something on tv - when i came back the place i was had turned into a rift zone and monsters were everywhere D: lol i know they said it would happen but after all the lies game companies had told me it nice to see rift telling the truth xD

so who will be buying the full game?
