The Guild As It Stands

Right I thought I'd do a headcount and let people know who's still in and who's out!

Current Active Members:

Raiflaine
Nex Deus

Inactive Members:

Lloreyn (Will most likely be removed from the guild soon.)
Jerrica (Unlikely to be playing TOR.)
Maimai (Away looking after my old guild but will return when game is released.)

Well we're over half way there now guys! A few more and I can start running the elections for the guild officers.

So we need about 8-5 members more. I think in about 5 we should start the elections. Of course, there may be drop-outs between now and then, though it doesn't look like it.

The plan is to get about another 7 members so we have the full quota, and then I will start the elections for the second Guild officer. If members dissapear then there's not a lot I can do about it, but we will continue with the elections as planned. I would preferably like everyone as members so everyone gets a fair chance of becoming an officer. Once the candidates have let me know that they want to be considered for the job, I may ask them all to start their own campaign explaining to the rest of the guild why they would be good for the job. When it comes to voting I will also ask people to send me a PM with the name of the member they would like to see elected, and it may not be themselves. At the end of it we will have a new officer that the guild has voted for!

I'm also planning on allocating different jobs to each officer. So for example I currently have Raiflaine keeping an eye on the guild when I'm not about. Which I must say he's doen really well so far, especially with the Salazar business! For the other officers I'll probably be looking at someone to help with alliances (& possibly more recruitment if needed) and I will be looking for people to help create roleplay stories with me for the rest of the members, for when the game goes live.

Could you encourage Maimai to maybe stick us a little post introducing herself to the guild at large? You and Raif obviously know her really well from your LotR guild (is that right?) and I'm sure she's kept more than busy with her Fellowship, but it'd be nice to have a "hello" for the rest of us!

If you have an asterisk (*) by your name then that means I haven't seen you on here in a while and it would be nice if we could see some more participation on your behalf. Obviously I don't want to start rejecting applications or demoting people but if there isn't any activity I have to presume that you no longer wish to be in the guild or you've found another one to join. Some of you have explained why you're away so I know this doesn't effect you but for the others, if you're away please let me know on the absences thread.

Unfortunateley I shall be having to take some action on inactive members soon. Some have been away for some time now without really any reason as to why, so therefore there may well be some demotions in the near future. Don't worry I won't be removing anyone from the guild that I feel can still offer the guild something but ideally I would to see some more activity over such a long period of time. I know I myself haven't been as active of late due to health issues and getting things in my life back on track but I feel that if I can make it on at least once or twice a week then others should be able to do so too.

Again my apologies as you're all a great bunch and I hate to do it but I've been left no other choice.
