| With the run up to Xmas looming, you don't actually need to be a follower of the religious holiday to be run off your feet, I think we can all appreciate that. Many of us spend christmas with our families/loved ones (whether by choice or blackmail) and its fair to assume that this place might well quieten down over the holiday period in line with SWTOR.com So, the poll included in this post is to guage whether people think The Agency should go 'on holiday' over xmas Obviously this doesn't mean the site will be closed down / inaccesible, but if there are less people here, does it need to run at full capacity? What is being proposed here and is up for discussion is whether or not the main duties of the guild should be put "on hold" over the week surrounding xmas (being Monday 21st Dec through to Sunday 27th December 09) In other words, although people are welcome to come here as normal and engage in any of the usual activities on site, people are to be excused from performing the following duties: * RP's are not required to be posted in, nor updated by GMs* Threat Of Peace updates are to be left until after 27.12.09* Media/TOR Game updates are to be left until adter 27.12.09* The Recruitment thread does not require mandatory bumpage* This week does not count toward "member inactivity"As previously stated people can choose to do the above if they so wish, it is simply not expected over this period. I personally will be here for the majority of that week (due to being at work and my work-place being quiet as most people are off for xmas!) so I will be about for anyone who does pop in, and am commited to updating the Swimsuit Calendar on SWTOR.com anyway. So what do people think? should the Agency break up for Xmas? PLEASE NOTE: Should we chose to break up over the Xmas period, Ambassadors PrioryJK, Harewood, Harelquin2 and Tando please point this fact out to your respective contacts within the Allied Guilds as a matter of courtesy in case they come calling and get no response from us. | |

| I think this is bloody marvellous idea. I would only change the official 'resume' date to after New Year. Since we're all gamers and some of us are part animals... *Hare throws a look in SS's direction^^ ...many of us will probably be frantically playing with new toys and games and readying ourselves for New Year in the week between then and Xmas. Just a suggestion. (Edit: Ooops! I meant to write " party animals", but wtf - I'll stand by that statement. lol) |

| Yep, fair point - its only another 4 days after all Mind you this is the "Discussion" thread to see what we all think, I imagine Sure will want to do an official announcement one if we decide to go through with it, so I'll leave the original date for now. | |

| I'm happy for for both here, if we chose to "Stay Open" then I don't mind or if we do "Shut Up Shop". So I'll just go with the flow on this one | |

| Well I'll be off for a New Year Holiday instead from the 30th to the 3rd so I'll be absent then as well. But a nice Christmas break wouldn't go un-noticed | |

That sounds ok, although I would like the break to be effective immediately 'cause I think everyone needs to sort out stuff for Xmas. Is all the RP going on hold as well? I hope so cause I really don't have any time to take part in any! | |
