"Tales Of The E.P.O.C.H." Webcomic (Issue 00) (Progress Thread)

I'd best get it fixed then

Page 7 (last story page of comic) corrected:

* Font brought into line with the rest of the comic (Book Antiqua instead of Arial)
* Boxes retouched to be more exact
* Creed's Speech bubble altered

Page 5 (when Aleena first enters the comic)

* Spelling corrected, Gideon now doesn't need to look over his "shoulder" anymore, it was dumb when he was looking over his "sholder"

* Quotes from the Datapad have been re-written, now in a white colour to make it more legible. Also font size has been slightly increased.

So with the recent changes, can anyone spot anything else that needs changing? If I'm to put this on SWTOR, I'd like it to look correct so it reflects possitively on the Guild!

PS: Once its 'finalized' I'll update and re-upload the PDF and the video.

Well, if you really want something negative:
Page 6: The last three boxes in the bottem right are white text on yellow while everything else is black on yellow. Some may find this confusing.
Page 7: The 2 Soldier models (Arty and another one), in the last panel have a space between them and the rest of the group, making them look isolated.

Absolutely brilliant and the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life, yes marmite is awesome ….

nah this was great LW, I loved the final page showing all the members up till now and Aleena looks awesome J the entire comics is really well done, do you want me to link it to RoM or have you done it already?

Can’t wait to see the next one

Well those boxes are meant to look different to all the others, its the main character (gideon) coming to realisation that everything he was driven to do to avenge his wife felt kinda pointless, its meant to stand out in an "epiphany" kinda way.

That last page was a B****rd, I don't think I could bring myself to re-do it yet again so Art + Tando can say as they are

I'd ask if people could wait to inform the other guilds until it is up on SWTOR.com first, that way people will be more inclined to leave a comment there

Speaking of the webcomic, is each one going to be a story based on a member?

Probably, at least initially.

I'd like to run an "origin" story for each member eventually, but it'll be a time consuming project.

One thing though, for anyone who has not yet left a comment, when you do so could you please also rate it? (I'm not after praise, but with stars next to a thread it gets noticed more. More interest in the comic = more interest in the Guild!)

Incidently, the updated PDF and Video are now up.

I've posted a reply at swtor.com but couldn't find the ratings bit. I've searched the help section on there (conveniently hidden in the "General Discussion" area) and have seen it's a drop-down box underneath the part where you write your reply. It seems I can still rate it on my next post, so once someone else leaves a reply, I'll stick another one in and make sure I use the ratings drop-down.

BTW, (this may be painfully obvious but) where can I find the video please? I want to seeeee!! >_<

LOL yeah, also in retrospect maybe I should have left out "Lunarwolf as 'The Mysterious Woman'" - I see more "Lady Lunar" comments on the horizon!

There is now an official "Tales of the EPOCH" update thread in the Gallery section, you can find it here.


In the same way that Threat of Peace is updated as it comes out, future editions of Tales Of The EPOCH will be found here. Whilst it might seem a little surplus at the moment (what with only the first issue being out), please be aware that, in time, it will make more sense due to the fact that each issue will have its own discussion thread (like this one) and the Update Thread will serve as a central gallery for the comic as a whole.
