· WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
Jason, though I prefer Harlequin2
· WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
Greece / England (in England, Surrey right now)
· HOW OLD ARE YOU?
Undisclosed
· WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO THIS GUILD?
The unique nature of the guild, being composed of bounty hunters, spies and marauders unlike normally “loyal” and “glorious” Republic Commandos and Soldiers. I suppose RP events like striking in-game negotiations and deals with guilds (like the GTC and the Brotherhood) and performing covert/black operations, assassinations, etc. attracts me.
Another thing that attracts me is the small number cap. I like this because we will be more “close knit” and people will have more value in the guild, that say one that has 150 members. It will also allow us to perform more “back to back” scenarios and so on.
· DO YOU HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE IN ROLEPLAYING?
Well, I haven’t played D&D or dressed up and acted the elf, but I did do a lot of Role-playing in WoW. I acted out several characters to the best of my abilities, and I was pretty good – a common site around Goldshire, hanging out with two of my friends and causing all sorts of mischief and acts. Actually, I started out PvEing on a PvP but one faithful day, I roleplayed a bit with some guy next to me. One guy just walked up to us and said, “Go on an RP server” (a bit ruder than that). So I did! And I’ve never stopped loving Roleplaying, it is a good imaginative and creative venture for the mind.
· WHAT (IF ANY) MMORPG'S HAVE YOU PLAYED IN THE PAST?
As said above, WoW. I also played a small bit of NGE SWG and City of Villains. I wasn’t good at any of them really as I was using a labtop with a bad graphics card. It was a terrible drain of time, watching my computer lag. I was always 1-5 minutes behind everyone else which was awful! However, I’m getting an iMac soon so I will say, “begone!” to lag and “hello!” to smooth game play. In WoW, though I lagged, I had a very good knowledge of the game, and I had a couple of good characters. I think I’ll pick ToR up quite fast!
· WOULD YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF AN ACTIVE PLAYER?
I try to be active. I’m planning on 10 hours a week if that is allowed. I might do more, but seriously, I need to work and study. It is difficult multitasking, but I have managed to do it before. Even so, I won’t take any risks and I hope you understand when I have to up and leave. As I said, I may do more hours, but I don’t want to feel pressured. This game is for fun after all and I will still be a productive team member.
· WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU COULD OFFER THE GUILD?
Muscle. I’ll offer someone who will ruthlessly track down targets and break necks in the name of credits. Someone who can strike negotiations and stick a neck out for his crew. Watered down, I’ll offer a character that I believe will be fun to interact with. I’ll be productive, giving ideas for guild structure, lore, operations and deals. I think I have a good imagination, which will come in handy while role-playing, and I’m happy to give advice. I also try to be a friendly member to the community, and give Blasters for Hire a good name.
· WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE THE GUILD TO OFFER YOU?
I want the guild to offer me a good, friendly and fun environment. I want it to give many role-playing activities. However, as once said “Ask not what your state can do for you, ask what you can do for your state” (or something like that). This means that in order for the guild to do the above, I myself, as a member, must uphold and promote those features myself. After all, is it not the community as a whole that will give those qualities?
· DO YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION OR IDEAS ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE?
Actually, I do. Skursir’s his name, after a childhood alter ego that seems to have dominated my life (in a good way). A transoshian recruited from one of his home world’s most deadly cities, into the Republic Special Forces. Skursir’s a brutal soldier, hot headed and always rushes into combat. I don’t want to make to much of a story as I want the game to carry the story line along for me, however, suffice to say, he ends up joining “Blasters for Hire”.
Hope you like it!
