Its really good pick it up it should be cheap now, I'm wondering how much it'll follow on? Spoilers for Tandos sake
Spoiler:
Will it give the last game a fixed ending? (save the council/kill the council) because that really could dictate story alot

Nah, they've already announced that every choice from the first game. Who lives, who dies, what missions you've done, everything will be carried into the next game. It won't be that awkward exposition crap that KotOR 2 and all of Star Wars lore did after KotOR.

Yeah. That sounds really promising. Bioware makes masterpieces when talking about story. I just hope that HW requirements won't be very high, but from the look of it, I really can just HOPE

The Cast of Mass Effect 2 Stars line up to provide voices for BioWare's upcoming sequel. by Steve Butts LATEST IMAGES
View all 48 images LATEST VIDEO
View all 19 videos December 10, 2009 - Today BioWare announced the names of several of the voice actors for the upcoming Mass Effect 2. Among the notables who are lending their talents to the game are: Martin Sheen ("The West Wing"), Shorhreh Aghdashloo ("House of Saddam"), Seth Green ("Austin Powers"), Keith David ("Crash"), Michael Dorn ("Star Trek: Deep Space Nine"), Tricia Helfer and Michael Hogan ("Battlestar Galactica"), Carrie-Ann Moss ("The Matrix"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Chuck"), and Adam Baldwin ("Predator 2: Electric Boogaloo").
Dr. Ray Muzyka, BioWare's co-founder and General Manager of EA's RPG/MMO group, praised the cast:
"Emotionally engaging narrative is a key design pillar for BioWare, and the top-notch voice talent in Mass Effect 2 helps drive this goal... Credible, powerful personalities are vital to delivering a compelling story experience in BioWare's games, and we have assembled an amazing ensemble cast that surpasses the very high bar set in the original Mass Effect!" The company also outlined the roles that many of these stars will play. It's no big surprise that Seth Green will return as Joker or that Keith David reprises his role as Admiral Anderson. Of the new actors, Martin Sheen will star as "the mysterious Illusive [sic] Man who commands Cerberus, a secretive paramilitary organization dedicated to protecting human interests in the galaxy." Yvonne Strahovski plays a genetically enhanced Cerberus operative Miranda Lawson. Tricia Helfer provides the new voice of the Normandy, EDI. Carrie-Ann Moss plays the crime lord Aria T'Loak, Shohreh Adhdashloo plays Admiral Shala'Raan vas Tonbay, Michael Hogan plays Captain Bailey, Adam Baldwin plays Kal 'Reegar, and Michael Dorn plays Gatatog Uvenk. The game is still set for a January 26 release in North America and a January 29 release in Europe.
This give me hope for SWTOR voice actors

Right tbh, I'm not blown away by these new actors, yeah its cool to see some of them ie the Battlestar guys and Baldwin but I'm going to be playing recognising all the voices and not being fully imersed, and I've already decided which characters will not be joining my team, bye bye Miranda Lawson, you are now the new Ashley or male human i have forgotten the name of from the first game, I'm still hoping for a Salarian character

When I first heard they were using the Collectiors for M.E.2 I had a big ol' smile on my face. I'd just finished reading "Ascension" and they were still fresh in my memory; to suddenly see them being a major antagonist in ME2 was just awesome. I was such a fan of Mass Effect, and the books really did the story justice, so to see M.E.2 pretty much picking up the banner and running with it made my day.
