| I have been introduced to The Mantell Syndicate. They're a seemingly friendly bunch with their own receptionist!: http://www.mantellsyndicate.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=59 To be honest, I'm impressed. They look very clean, have a well built website and seem to be after the same thing we are: credits. I've already given the leader a request for an alliance. I hope I've done the right thing. This can also be a page for the receptionist's most funny replys. Here's mine: You: Hit me baby one more time! J-N1S: Query: Perhaps you might elaborate further on "Hit me baby one more time!"? Please, feel free to take you time. Musing: I'll just be trying to do something meaningful with my existence in the mean time. Like perhaps tracing your transmission origin so I can come visit you in person and you can talk to me about "Hit me baby one more time!" until such point as your fleshy organic vocalizers are mysterious vaporized by blaster fire. You have to hear her say it though for it to really be funny | |

| LOL yeah, Black Heart and I were chatting about them last night. Really nice site I have to say! As for the alliance it'd probably be better if you speak with me in the future about these things first, as they may well be an american guild and for the meantime we've got our eyes set on alliances with european guilds. Still 10 out of 10 for intiative though mate. Fingers crossed they're european. | |

| Thanks! But it was quite reckless if anything. Still, you never know, there may be American-European servers!
EDIT: He's replied saying that he'd like more time to grow and to plant his roots before starting alliances. If you ask me though, that Janice will put him on the map. Can we have one, boss? Can we? Can we? *puppy dog eyes* Actually, we'd look like copycats so we'd better stay away. We have to think of a new gimick... A timeline like the one in ToR, but for Blasters for Hire?

Actually, we'd look like copycats so we'd better stay away. We have to think of a new gimick... A timeline like the one in ToR, but for Blasters for Hire? Practicality. I know Redwatch is good enough with really everything to make it look like our own TOR timeline but it takes some real skill in writing scripts to do something like that and, as far as I know, we don't have anyone particularly skilled in that department. We'd also need a separate page to put it on and, besides using an entire portal, Forumotion doesn't let you have another page to work with. Good idea, though. And I really like the Mantell Syndicate, they seem like a good bunch.

| That is a really clever idea. Giving visitors a toy to play with endears the guild to everyone. But I'd be weary of sickly scrawny sheep in glossy sheep's clothing. One clever script a good guild doth not make. The wordy stuff reads very professional and at least implies a leader with a decent brain. But with only 139 total posts they're very young. Definitely one to watch though! |

| Yes. But I have a feeling that they will contact us when they are ready. I've already been told that they're new and need time to grow before branching out. But I doubt they would let slip the possible alliance that we as guilds could share. Perhaps when we ally with all the commerce/bounty hunter guilds, we could name that alliance. I would add an interesting spin on our relationships, having a name for them. I'm thinking the "Black Confederacy" or something | |
