    I was sitting around being bored at work, thinking of my newest character when it struck me. Its nothing really important or anything but something to take into consideration considering how illogical Lightasbers are.

    So you have your lightsaber. According to wookieepedia a Lightsaber is a "blade of pure plasma". On the opposite side you have your enemy armed with a cortosis weave sword.

    You charge at each other with your weapons held up high then you clash crossing your weapons in a powerful strike... And they just got through one another... you both die. Why is that?

    A lightsabers "blade" is nothing but incredibly hot gas, meaning its not solid. On the other hand a cortosis weave sword is in fact solid and able to withstand the heat from a lightsaber. What happens if you swing a solid object through a gas? Well swing your hand through the air and you'll know ^^

    would the lightsaber not melt the sword? or am i just thinking to much, since plasma is ment to be REALLY REALLY HOT!(well, atlest in my head it is!)

    Plasma is indeed hot. I worked with plasma cutters back when i worked at Ruukki. But that's not the point here! Thats why i said "Cortosis weave sword" Smile
