Rotted smell of the surrounding swamp is overwhelming. Even ventilation system in the wide reinforced hangar can't handle it, instead just moves mass of stinky air around the free space. In dim greenish light you see shape of Empire shuttle, standing on the landing spot in far east of the hangar.

[How did you reached the Nal Hutta? How do you look alike? Do you have your mission gear already with you or you have to change?]


Near the place where you where directed by security droids, you see tall, grim woman with greyish hair, busy checking various equipment and weaponry spread on the ammunition crates near the entrance. She gives you a sign with the cybernetic, coal-grey arm to move closer.

[Leta] "I'm glad you all could make it." She gives little longer glare at Keil'ix. "My name is Leta Orbus and I was send here to prepare the equipment and give you briefing about the mission surroundings. As you already know from the Agency info, you've been picked up as an infiltration and protection team. Our client wants to retrieve something from old sith science base, and needs our well paid help."

She switched on small holoprojector resting on the front crate amongst hunting blaster rifles. Above you appeared image of Zabrak female. Her face was covered in Sith tattoo - single red strip from top of the head slimming down till reaching jaw - scarlet line surrounded by black background of young, slim face. She has her horns thin and long - feature often appearing amongst Zabrak darksiders.Her eyes are closed on the picture, beside that you can guess that she’s very slim, almost unhealthy. The image started to rotate.

[how do you react seeing the image of your employer?]

[Leta]"Her name is Xaru Maru, she's inquisitor in the structures of Sith Pyramid, but this mission is her private initiative. Inquisitor position may help us reach the destination point. As I know, she is looking for datadisk that belongs to her dead teacher, but there is a chance that Empire left other documentation or even chemical samples behind. Since she doesn’t have permission to search the ruins it will be hit & run operation – good timing and speed is needed. Let’s hope she won’t stay behind. Our client will provide us with valid access key to destination planet, we had to find acceptable starship" She pointed behind at the Empire shuttle. " You will pick her up from Korriban, Sector 44434/570, then she will guide you to the base on Dromund Kaas." She makes short brake to smile nasty. “Yup, The Capital – deep S*&t indeed”
[Do you react anyhow when you hear that destination is the capital planet of Sith Empire?]

"Let’s be clear - I'm not usually undertaking missions that include killing Empire Forces. So I’m here to share my experience from Dromund Kaas when I was in the force – that’s all.” She changed the picture on the projector. Huge shape of Sith Capital started to hover above her head. “I just want to be sure that you know the danger. First thing is, despite our Client connections, Dromund Kaas is heavily defended, and you have to be very skilled to avoid the military cordon. So the pilot won’t heave easyan job. Chef Operative decided that Keil'ix will pilot the shuttle. The Agency believe in your skills in this matter.”She nodded towards him, but her face expression was rather sceptical.
[@Keil’ix any reaction?]

“Second information, confirmed by the Agency Intel gives us a peek into security system in the mission area. It appears that Empire don't want the old complex to be crowded by local hostile fauna. They installed strong energy fence and blaster auto-turrents around the facility. If you want to go there silently you need to slice the system first.” She pointed military slicing terminal packed on the other side of the crates. “This set is quite heavy, but it includes droid probes for remote computer slicing – it might be handy if you want to switch it off from the distance. Computer pointed you [Leta is pointing @Fray Doreel] as the person with most experience in this area. You will decide do you want to overrun the defence system from the orbit, or when you will be close to the complex. Either way, it may take some time to disable it WITHOUT alarming the security forces in the sector.” She pointed red spots on the hologram, marking military infrastructure near uncivilized part of the Dromund Kaas. “The facility is located in the isolated wildness, so there is no danger of immediate intervention. If you unsuccessfully disrupt guarding systems, the nearest imperial units are about 3 hours flight from the target. I don’t think that such ruin is under surveillance of any Star Destroyer, but you have to remember that more than dozen of them patrol the Dromund Kaas orbit.” She smiled cocky, the scar on her cheek bend ugly. “Now, keep in mind that it’s not Coruscant. We had to take this planet inch by inch. There was no diplomacy - we had to fight back the creatures with blaster fire and flamethrowers. If you don’t kill the planet flora, plants will destroy the buildings in less than ten years. It’s extremely hostile environment, not only because constant rains and storms, but also because almost every creature there is poisonous, carnivorous or as hard to kill as stone. The first rule in survival in the Dromund Kaas forest is: be on the move! If you stay too long in one place, or you move to slow, you will gain the attention of the predators. And always watch your step. I’ll give you an example. Few years ago our recon platoon was divided in 2 groups. We had to meet near the wreck of spec ops corvette that crushed on the south of the planet. The second team ignored the thermal map and took shorter way. They where at the place 14 hours before us. They didn’t know that they marched through the feeding territory of armour ants. When we got there, all the survivors form the crash and whole team 2 where eaten to bones by those insectoids. We managed to reach evacuation point with half of the men and empty flamethrowers.” She seems really serious and angry “Don’t ignore the Dromund Kaas forests just because it’s capital world. It’s not damn core sector and Kaas City is only small fragment of this wild planet! So be on the move and watch your back! The longer you stay there the biggest chance that something nasty will interfere with mission objectives!” She moves her muscular shoulder to flex a bit and cracks her neck like cantina thug. Finally she smiled, showing white teeth contrasting with olive dark skin.

“Now the last thing – our client was specific about the personnel for this mission. She did not want to hire force-sensitive agents, especially trained in the ways of the Force. Personally, I think it was good call. Second thing is, she may need assist in taking samples and preserving biological material from contamination. She insists in using her own science gear, so you will pick it up with her on Korriban. The Agency think that Horatz Sallo [she points at @Horatz], with his science background, will be perfect member of the team. Your skill and knowledge looks impressive on the data base so it’s time to give them a test. “Leta moved her hand over the prepared equipment. “Chose the weapons and infiltration gear. If you have any questions I’m here to answer them, but remember that you should go ASAP to pick up point on Korriban”

Beep from the ship's console woke Horatz up. He immediately looked at the computer screen on the main panel to find out what's it all about.
" Destination target in 20 minutes. Make preparations for landing manuever."
He quickly went to the storage room to pack all the equipment and dress into the armor. His first mission in this agency required biological knowledge, so he made sure his portable chemistry kit wasn't lacking anything essential. Fully prepared he made his way into the cockpit and a few minutes later, his ship was landing in a designated hangar.

Knowing that atmosphere in Nal Hutta has major deviations from the standard atmosphere, he turned the enviroment sealing on his camo battle armor on. In effort to avoid any potential interest he left his sniper rifle on the ship, armed only with knives and a small blaster. Briefing doesn't require him of him to be fully armed. While sealing and turning ship's defense systems on, he was approached by a security droid.
" Welcome to Nal Hutta. I was instructed to direct you upon your arrival." the droid was staying motionless awaiting Horatz's response. " Provide me with coordinates droid."

Upon reaching the designated meeting place he realized, that he arrived first. But soon enough a Natoluan and small framed human woman arrived. As a group they were approached by a woman called Leta Orbus, who presented herself as their equipment provider and informer from the agency.

Horatz had his holorecorder prepared as the image of their employer appeared. After this, he pulled out an audio recorder and started to speak to it:
"Mission log 1. Character of the employer: A zabrak. Name : Xaru Maru, force user, signs of her physical appearence indicate lack of sunlight and nutrition. Possibly due to frequent use of exhausting force powers. That can lead to loss of apetite and concept of delusional physical amenity. Over usage of body cells also plausible. Immense energy requirments essential to reproduce them. Corruption by the dark side of the force evident. Image of a classic dark force user with ambitions over-exceeding their physical resources. Goal: She is to be escorted and assisted on a personal mission deep in Sith space. Unwillingness to cooperate with force users indicates her quest for bigger power or influence. Consecutive contracts with this employer is highly predictable as she could climb in ranks upon success of this assignment. Keep good relations. Her initial whereabouts are Korriban sector 44434/570. Further Target destination Dromund Kaas. Potential chemical risks, fatal injuries, dangerous fauna and flora, defense systems connected to central alarm - estimated time of protection arrival from setting it off 3hours. Make enhanced precautions. Prepare chemistry kit for biological containment. " after a lenghty self-note he put the audio recorder back into the satchel on his waist and turned to Leta: " I need to complete my equipment I've left on my personal ship. I will be ready to board prepared shuttle in approximately 12 minutes. My combat potential would be highly compromised without this completion. Thank you for your complete analysis of the Dromund Kaas enviroment. It will help to plan our approach. " when his monotone voice silenced, he made his way back to his ship to take all the gadgets he uses and the rifle.

He made sure that everything is in proper shape and got back to the briefing hangar in 11 minutes and 30 seconds. He made his way straight to Leta and demanded her attention by standing next to her : " How skilled is agent Fray in computer field ? Disabling the defense systems is a very crucial step in succesfull completion of this assignment. I have to know how high the possibility of imperial troops coming, because of the alarm is ?"

Keil'ix moves across the hanger towards the Empire's Shuttlecraft, a look of disgust crosses his face as a scent of the swamp enters his nostrils again, he stumbles a moment to refrain from having his last meal exit his stomach. After checking his satchel, pouches and pack, he seems satisfied that he has everything he will need for this mission. Once his gear is checked, Keil'ix pulls on his trenchcoat, adjusts his cloaking device on his wrist and makes sure it fuctions a few times. Once he seems satisfied with this he finishes his walk towards the mission shuttle.

As he approaches Leta and the shuttle, he tries to recall where and when he met this lovely creature, but then it clues into him. She was one of the females in the cantina that he took small interest in. He debates approaching this with caution or a carefree attitude. He shrugs and simply moves closer to the craft and his new employment.

Once he is standing close enough to Leta to notice him, he gives a smile and a wink to her and awaits the arrival of the other mission operatives. He smirks a little more once Fray joins the group.

"Must be my lucky day" he says to himself. "Two gorgeous women along with me on this job." Though when Horatz arrives, he groans a little. "Well.. almost lucky day.. might have to share now"

After Leta started to discuss the mission, Keil'ix found himself growing somewhat bored, he begins casting his gaze back between Leta and Fray, taking note of their features and making notes how to best compliement them on it. When the image of their new employer came into view, Keil'ix made a low whistle and comments to himself. "Well isn't she a peach." Then he starts to wonder what it would be like to court a Sith. He fades from his thoughts and tries to start paying attention again only to find they are discussing the destination.

Still seeming unphased with the greater details of the mission, he wanders back to his own thoughts while only listening for the important parts. Atleast until the mission briefing gets into the piloting part. Suddenly seeming very interested Keil'ix almost begins to lean forward.

"The agency has good cause to believe in my ability, I'm hands down the best pilot this side of the outter rim. I could dance a freighter around a moon in record time I'll have you know. I myself am packed and ready for this mission.. also.. is that the ship we will be taking? It's not very flashy..."

Fray takes a few steps out from her small, one-man ship and then stops as the stench of Nal Hutta's polluted air hits her. With a slight frown she makes sure her Hold-Out blaster and vibro-dagger are hidden from sight, and checks to make sure the stealth generator in her utility belt is working. Feeling the disgusting air on her skin she decides to take her jacket and lastly hangs her sniper over her back, before she starts to move towards the shuttle.

As she approaches she notices that there is already 3 people there; a stiff looking man, a Nautolan and a grim looking woman with a cybernetic arm. She slightly recalls her meeting with the Nautolan—she thought his name was Keil'ix—, and also recognizes the woman, even though she's not sure from where or when.

She listens to the mission briefing with her usual expressionless face and shows no sign of surprise at her designated role. As it is mentioned she gives the seemingly ancient slicing kit a disdainful look, and as the mission briefing is over she returns to her ship to get her personalized slicing computer as well as some gadgets she think might come in handy.

When she returns to the briefing hangar she overhears Horatz questioning her skills and she looks at him with an annoyed glint in her eyes. Without letting it show she first points at him and then at the military slicing terminal provided by the agent.

"You carry. Too heavy for me."

Without waiting for an answer she turns towards Leta.

"Let's go."

"It's not the parade, the starship should not be "Flashy" - it should stay inconspicuous"she shaked her head a bit surprised by Lyssdan's comment. "and your skills in flying this thing will be probably tested on Dromund kaas - there is nothing like Kaas weather in the galaxy. So stay sharp"
Leta looked then at Horatz Sallo with confidence and reserve.
"The Agency is making the decisions here, I'm just the messenger. I know that past assignments and reputation pointed Agent Fray Doreel as main slicer. But as you see the team was designated to be flexible. We don't want to complicate the mission just because someone got shot in the head. Each of you can be professional backup if person designated for an team role won't be available or... alive. But the main roles where sorted by Officers. I advice to stick to them" she sound official, but understanding "to give the full answer to your question, we calculated that agent Doreel should have 97,88% to slice the empire code, and there is 83% chance for armed response if the slicing will be exposed. The 3 hour time limit for empire security forces to reach the perimeter is 75% possible. There is still 20% chances for Spacecraft intervention and 5% for no reaction, assuming that complex is rather abandoned and designated for demolition - what is most unlikely."
Leta saluted the agents and ordered the droids to move rest of the gear into the hangar vault. She puts her mirror shades and moves for the safe distance, when the hijacked shuttle starts on the positional engines...


Many say that Korriban is not marked by the Dark Side, but the Death itself. Ancient tombs bounds the restless spirits of once powerful creatures that conquered this harsh land. Your pilot matched the expectations, avoiding any interest from Sith ships clustering in few space ports thrown over the surface of the "Tomb Planet". As you fly above lifeless mountains and long forgotten monuments, you realize how far into the wastelands you have to travel to reach the meeting point.

There, on the edge of sector 44434, your computer started to isolate short range comlink. More like noise than actual signal.

On the surface of the planet you can see strong wind blowing tons of coarse sand right in the face of nameless statues. You try to find suitable landing spot. If you want to land straight in the sector send you by employer, the only sure place is an empty artificial plateau, in the days of the Sith glory it could be main chamber of the long gone temple.

Just when you moved down to the landing speed, you see two figures on the surface. One is huge, with monstrous right hand and thick red skin, looking like Massassi warrior. The other one is smaller, and barely moves, sitting under one of the still standing broken pillars. You can see even from the landing ship, that sand and gravel dance around the mysterious person, with direct and force against the wind.

The red-skinned wild warrior starts to shake his arm armed with ancient sith spear - he might look deformed and primitive but he seems to be wearing parts of old armour made in the old times, probably looted from one of numerous sarcophagus.

[What is the crew reaction and landing procedure?]

Fiddling with smelly substances, Horatz feels a sudden decceleration. The ship had entered Korriban's atmosphere. He immediately packed everything up, geared himself to a mission ready state and made his way to the pilot's cabin to observe environment in a greater detail.

As the ship caught shortlink comm signal, he turns to Keil'ix and ask : " Can you clear that signal up? We have to analyse everything to plan the best course of action. I believe assistance of agent Fray would be valuable in this matter. " Looking around he realizes that Fray isn't anywhere near. " Use the ship's commlink and summon her If I may ask."

When he saw the quantity of sand being blown from side to side, he began with checks on the condition of his armor's environmental sealing. Everything was fully charged, with enough oxygen for 10 hours. After the routine maintenance he sees a sight of the two unknown individuals. One of them Massassi. He read about this species, but haven't seen one in person until now. Only thing sprung to his mind. That this species was used as a slaves to Dark Jedi and fight under their influence. So the other one has to be a dark force user.

Horatz turns to the crew and explains his plan:" We have to take precautions near these two individuals. I propose, that only two of us leave the ship with one hidden inside, aiming at the Massassi with sniper rifle in case situation turns into violence. I recommend myself to the role of a sniper. My mind is the least detectable for the force user as it has no emotions to make it busy. Moreover, I have some poison coated ammunition for the rifle, so in case the shot isn't lethal for the massassi, the poison could severly weaken it and eventually kill. My assumption for this scenario to happen is high. The other two could concentrate on force user then." he stops, so everyone can think about this, but almost instantly starts explaining again. "I advise to solve this peacefully If possible. We musn't jeopardize the goal of our mission and draw unwanted attention to our presence. If they won't exhibit interest in us, we shouldn't talk to them and proceed to our main objective." still thinking of many possible outcomes of this situation he speaks again : " Anyway, I'm open to any modifications of this plan, If it makes it better in protecting our lives and our mission goal. "

As the ship enters Korriban's atmosphere, Fray is hanging back in a secluded area of the shuttle, tinkering with the military slicing terminal that had been carried on board the ship. It was, in her opinion, nearly ancient and very clumsy, but by hooking it up to her own slicing computer and bypassing the system she was hoping to be able to use the probe droids that came with it much more effectively, as their remote slicing capabilities could come in handy in a worst case situation, if just as a distraction.

When she gets the request of her presence from the comlink she slightly squints her eyes in dissatisfaction before slowly putting down her terminal and then makes her way to the pilot cabin. Upon entering she greets the others by completely ignoring them and immediately starts working on clearing up the signal and record it.

Without stopping her hands, Fray casts an eye out the window as the ship goes down for landing and quickly spots the two figures. At first she doesn't recognize the larger one, but suddenly slows her moving fingers for a split second when she realizes that it must be a Massassi. Not many of those had been spotted for several hundred of years, so having one appear right in front of her during a mission like this was surprising to say at least. Considering the Massassi and also how the blowing sand seems to avoid it, the smaller figure must thus be a force user. She quickly finishes up the work with the signal and turns towards Horatz as he began to explain his plan.

After listening for a while she frowns and interrupts. "Won't comment on the fact that your skill with the rifle is so low that you need poison to kill with it. But this is the meeting point, in the middle of pretty much nowhere. If one of these two—my guess being the smaller one—is not our client, then we can and should assume that our mission has already been compromised." She pauses for a second. "All we can do is to approach with caution. You stay here and play with your gun if you like, but avoid killing our client." Getting tired of talking, and also feeling curious about seeing the Massassi up front, she turns towards Keil'ix. "Shall we?"

Keil'is rolls his eyes a bit when when Leta comments in reguards to his disappointment in the shuttle of choice but accepts it and moves on. As the ship begins to land he notices the figures outside.

He begins to go through the final packing of his gear, making sure it is all ready for the trip. Looking outside as they touch down he glances back outside.

"Don't these two look like a bundle of joy and excitment..."

He looks around to find Fray joining them once again. Looking back in her direction he shoots her a wry smirk.

"Hey, glad you could rejoin us gorgeous. Looks like the party is about to start. Gather your things if you haven't"

After Fray spoke to the Horatz he thought for a second and tries to justify his viewpoints. He alteres his voice to sound a little reassuring : " You are right Agent Fray this can be our client, but assuming something is an interlude to possible fail and I don't assume, I prepare. And rest assured my skill with rifle is above excellent, but there are many unforseeable elements that could interrupt your aiming or shot trajectory and therefore it is only logical to improve your killing rate by any means possible. Try to hold back any of your ego and see things the way they are a not the way they should be , based on your feelings. I hope you won't hold any bad attitude towards my persona. We don't need to jeopardize the assigment by conflicts in our team. Don't you agree? " He then turnes to his sniper rifle and starts assembling it into battle condition.

"Got what I need." Fray replies to Keil'ix and pats one of her hidden Hold-Out blasters. "Sniper is no use on point blank."
After hearing Horaz defend himself she raises her eyebrow. "Did simply comment on your statement that we should 'proceed with our main objective' if these two aren't our clients; if these two aren't then the mission is compromised, so act with caution. Simple, logical and based on reality, not emotions." She gives a subtle but crude smile. "You make a lot of illogical assumptions for one who supposedly lack anything but logic. I wonder who it is that are jeopardizing the assignment."

After finishing she leaves the cabin and heads towards the exit ramp, ignoring any further attempts to talk with her.

Keil'ix grins at the interaction as Fray walks past him and exits the shuttle.

"Oh she's fiery, I like it. This will be a fun mission!"

He gathers the last of his stuff and pulls his coat a little tighter as he heads for the exit.

"Let's get this started already.. "
