In france, we use 3 differents school marking systems. (Don't wonder why school made me hysteric)
One is A B C D E with A being the best and E the worst. This one is mostly used in primary school and then for exercises that don't count in your overall mark.
You have then a marking from 0 til 10 with ten being the best usually used for exercise counting only a few.
And then marks from 0 til 20 the classic, where 0 is the worst and twenty the best. In that system having for example 16 and over means you're a r0xx0r, 13-15 means you're good, 9-12 means you're the middle and regular, 7 and less means you're either an idiot or lazy.
8/20 means: "Come one, dude! you can do better than that..." That's THE mark that means you're not an idiot, just THE lazy b****rd.
