| I don't disagree with any particular point. Just saying that HoD have 8 Bounty Hunters (more than we have!) in their Bounty Hunter department. 'Department' is probably a poor term but they get a mention in the guild structure and have a "Head Bounty Hunter". And I'm sure that if/when the spy class is annunced they'll receive their fair share of those too. |

Ah well. At least they're claiming to be "fully integrated" into the Sith Empire wheras we're not. Or are we? (I keep getting this bit wrong!^^) |

(I keep getting this bit wrong!^^) Nah we're definitely neutral but it makes sense to sway toward the Sith as they'll probably be more likely to pay us for these kind of jobs, however thats more down to your character if your aligned to the Republic or Empire. Plus I like the idea of intergrating a Bounty Hunter/Imperial Agent guild, a secret service and a criminal network all into one. In a way we've left ourselves open to more opportunties for RP with other Republic guilds by looking at it like that so I'm happy with it from that standpoint at least.

| Hahaha! Check this out: Section 13It's quite comical how we started something original to then see lots of guilds pop up with the idea of a "Secret Agency". I think the only thing that is making us truly original now is that we're only in it for the credits. Admittedly these guys do sound slightly different, unlike the DarkNet Agency. Awww I suppose we should be flattered in a way. | |

| Having a look it seems Section 13 are Republic aligned so they're totally different from us. |

| Aye thats why I mentioned the whole "Secret Agency" thing. There seems to be too many guilds jumping on that bandwagon. | |

| Looks like we have some competition guys...
The Hunters Collective.
I was going to moan about how similar they are but I did in fact like they're backstory so it'll be interesting to see what comes of this guild. If things work out well for them I may even approach them for an alliance.

| Well they have RPing forums but they aren't stated as one. In fact it just says PvE/PvP guild. Seems a bit odd to have a backstory for a non-RP guild though. | |

| Aye, it is indeed. Perhaps if they have RP forums though then they might be willing to do some in-game RP. Worth contacting them? | |

| Ah I've just seen this on the recruitment thread: - Quote :
- Actually we are not an RP guild. We enjoy the rich lore and fantasy that the Star Wars universe provides, but we are a PvE/PvP guild foremost.

| I'm actually fairly pleased they're not an RP guild in all fairness. I think we'd probably end up going for the same people in the recruitment threads. | |

| Casual RPers: people that mainly focus on PvE or PvP and who sometimes RP to have a break. That's how I understand what you say. | |

It's actually quite annoying seeing some of our ranks re-used in other guilds, "Agent" pops up over and over again I've noticed. Ranks like "Initiate" I can completely understand and I'm sure we weren't the first to use it. Saying that I don't think we're the only ones to suffer either. None of the Jedi and Sith-based guilds (with the exception of the Path) seem original now which is a shame. Maybe when I promote us again for recruitment I'll make a point about being the first Mercenary/Secret Agent guild in TOR history.

| I don't see the problem with the "Hyperion copy" affair. RP wise bars are always the most liked and crowded place. I would agree to say when I think Sith I don't think bar but... Sith and brandy needs love too! | |

| I'm not exactly upset about it (I'm actually kinda flattered) but did they have to copy the format as well? The npc bios, the floorplan.....
I was half expecting the drinks list!

| As there has been an influx of similar guilds pop up recently (the most recent being another Syndicate) I was wondering if we should start keeping an eye on their progression? They could all become valuable allies at some point. Ideally I'd like to see a Neutral/Republic aligned guild that is similar to ours as I can imagine that'd be pretty interesting exchanging information about the Sith and Republic guilds. Certainly from an RP point of view at least. | |
