Regarding Recruitment - How To Send An Invitation

Right to save everyone the trouble I thought I'd write out what I have been sending to potential recruits so that you can do the same from now on. However please use the recruitment thread in the guild forums as soon as you have contacted someone so that we don't double post and spam the same person. Unfortunately this seems to be our weakest point in our guild at the minute and I think we need to see it resolved as soon as possible.

Here it something that you can copy and paste in your own time but PLEASE remember to modify it before sending it:

I've been checking through the 'looking for a guild' thread and your form in particular has caught my eye. Before I go into too much detail in what we feel our guild can offer you I'd like to take the opportunity to tell you a little bit about us.

[URL="http://www.agentsoftheepoch.org"]Agents of the E.P.O.C.H[/URL] are a small european time based guild that offer high quality roleplay to each and every member. We are primarily a medium to heavy RP guild and we feel that with our unique approach and the fact that we are one of the first of our kind, we stand apart from many other guilds currently on offer.

The basic concept and background of the guild is that we are a highly secretive & elite underground network of Mercenaries, Assassins, Spies, and Force Adepts that make their living from contract killings, fugitive retrievel, espionage and protection for anyone that require their services.

*Now here comes the trickier part. I will need you to point out certain aspects from their 'looking for a guild post' and what made them catch your eye in the first place and modify it accordingly so it gives it that 'personal' touch. For example it could go like this:*

I can assure you that we are a dedicated bunch and we'll try our very best to make your character feel right at home.

*To end it off please copy and paste the following code and add your name and rank at the end*

Some things to remember are:

Make sure they have a healthy interest in RP.

They must be willing to play at European times.

They are preferably over 20 (but 18+ is fine if you think they'd fit in well).

They are active.

.....and I think thats about it! I really could do with your help here guys and please make a concious effort to do your bit for the guild so we can start to work on bigger projects and move forward.

Hurrah! I keep putting off recruiting potentials because I'm worried I'd write the wrong thing, so this helps a-plenty! (mind you, said people who I put off inviting tend to get spotted by you lot anyway).

@ Tando: 'tis a cunning way for the Boss to take things easy; he puts this up and we have no excuse not to be helping out with the recruitment more! In all honesty, a good idea ^^

I've just been sending out naked pictures of myself. No response yet, but I'm hopeful.
