Recruitment

Obviously at this stage of the game development it's going to be difficult to do an awful lot of recruitment. Personally I prefer the hands on approach as I prefer to meet people in game first, but those of you that I have recruited I've handpicked.

If you know of any european players that are interested in joining the guild please let me know. Alternatively, if you think you've seen someone on the
swtor.com 'looking for a guild' thread that looks like they might fit in with the guild, please let me know.

I've just given out a couple more invitations to a couple of people to check out our guild. Hopefully they'll like what they see.

By the way did people see my post on swtor.com signatures? It'd be handy if any of you guys could add that to your signature. Cheers!

Ooops! Jumped the gun a bit on this one boss, sorry. I've sent a pm on swtor to "Delilah" here pointing her(?) in this direction. I'll refer anyone else I spot to you first next time.

Hehehe! Yup I sent him/her an invitation the other day, but I still haven't had a response. From now I'll let people know who I've invited.

There's a guy by the name of eutoot (GMT time zone) looking for a guild here who seems like a good candidate.

There's a new potential in the applications section which I think needs addressing. Oh, and a possible ally to recruit to our side.

Just sent Wallner a message pointing to us. His 'looking for a guild' post says "leaning a bit towards rp" but he's given it a go on SWTOR.com. Lets see if we can tempt him, eh?

Yep, I PM'd him. People generally prefer that I've noticed, I try and make it a long post as well, so I can fit in all the details and give them a good sense of what we're about.

Guys, we need more people bumping the recruitment thread. So far there only seems to be myself, Black Heart, Redwatch & Lunarwolf doing it, but I'd prefer it if we could at least have some positive feedback from the rest of the guild. We're not far off getting all of our members, so the sooner we get that, the sooner we can start appointing guild officers.

I'm thinking if choosing people to help keep each thread on top of the boards and I may even PM you to let you know that you've been chosen. Sorry if that seems forceful but I really need more commenting on both threads and at the minute theres only a few of us doing it.

Just a quick note for people 'bumping the thread'.

First off, try and make it look less like an obvious bump. We've currently got ongoing conversations to keep the thread interesting and of course to serve its purpose of a bump.

Secondly, NEVER suggest anything negative in the post. If it looks like we're currently conflicted then it also sends out a bad message to people that may want to apply.

Thats it! Please remember to keep the threads alive and kicking as well. We're not too far off having our full quota of members and when that happens we can get down to the serious business.
