If my life had a soundtrack, this had better be one of the songs. Going through another Massive Attack phase.

Barber's "Adagio for Strings", although I am listening to the original, this video to the game HOMEWORLD is the only decent one I could find on the net...

Ah Adagio for Strings! Love that tune. Do you remember the one William Orbit did quite a few years ago? I love this version:

Yeah I remember that one Wasn't too keen tbh, not that there is anything wrong with it, just that I prefer the original - its the creepyness of it I like and thats kinda lost on Orbit version.

Not that I'm hooked or anything , but in anticipation of the pen'n'paper RPG release I am listening to the Dragon Age OST.
Inon Zur has always been a masterful composer and Aubrey Ashburn's vocals are incredibly haunting. Great Stuff

One of the most sinister 'classic' Christmas songs I've come across, which I heard yesterday for the first time ever.

I've been going through all my old Foo's albums recently cos things have been a bit "off" for me of late and these dudes always cheer me up when the Sh*t has hit the fan.
One of my personal favourites (as much for the mental video as the wicked feel-good lyrics) is "Learn To Fly" (sorry no embedding) with Dave Grohl in his "Matt LeBlanc look-a-like" days
Personally I've always thought he was a much better singer than Kurt Cobain with a much more impressive vocal-range all round. Shame he rarely got to sing (except backing vocals) in Nirvana but then again he was probably the only one who could play the drums!

Watched 28 Days again last night (good film; lighthearted look at addiction) and was reminded of this brilliant tune. The video above cheapens the song but thought I'd share it for any other depressives out there!

My other half has recently begun playing Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines again and hearing Isolated in Santa Monica's "The Asylum" club made me dig out my Chiasm album
...and some old-school Green Day (although this video is not the best quality )
