The 'Darth' Title

Will this actually make an appearance in the game? So many people seem to have their heart set on having their Sith character use the title. And i'm not sure but these Sith that are attacking the galaxy now weren't part of a Sith Empire that used the title 'Darth' before they fled.

I dont think it will be in the game IMO.

I really don't know to be honest. I think it's possible if they have a title system like most MMO's. If they do put it in thhough then I hope its really difficult to achieve. As you say though it doesn't make sense to have it in, but then again it doesn't make sense to have Bounty Hunters as a Sith Empire class only IMO.

We haven't been given enough info Sureshot There may well be a Republic Bounty Hunter (hinted in the comic).

As for the title 'Darth', I remember them saying that at the end of your own story, you'd be a high ranking leader - presumably a Darth, so I suppose it's possible, be hopefully only for end-game.

I agree, you're right about the Ancient Sith Empire not using Darth but simply having a single Dark Lord of the Sith. I think too many Darths running around would be silly too and BioWare shouldn't let it happen, IMO. But that shouldn't stop a character raised in the Old Republic from believing that their character is worthy of 'Darth' because at this point in canon it's simply a title for whoever wants it, doesn't make anyone important in the eyes of the Sith/Galaxy. If the title is in the game I think it would only go to those Dark Jedi whose prestige class is Sith Lord.

No probs mate. It's sucky as hell but who knows maybe in an expansion they'll change things around? Seeing as there is a high demand for it I can't see why not. I'm looking on the positive side of it all now. I'm thinking of it as gaining a whole new bunch of evil bastards, rather than losing what we already have. Positive thinking FTW!

I love some of the titles you can earn in Fable2:

The Swinger: Take part in a debauched bedroom party with several participants.
The Goth: A Hero must dye their hair black, and wear a black outfit and black makeup.
The Menace To Society: Commit an act of public indecency.
The Party Animal: Get five villagers drunk in under three minutes.

I remember having a great title in LotRO. I got people using the beg quote toward me so often I was named "Malaron Deepwinter, the Harrassed"!
