Recently I've had a two or three people ask me about donating to the guild site, so I've set up a contributions link at the bottom of the page as show here:



If you click on that you'll be asked to go to PayPal where you can help with a myriad of things that will improve the guild site such as:

• Removal of ads (which I've just done and I'm still waiting for the transaction to be completed).

• More gallery picture storage.

• A custom domain name.

Obviously there isn't an awful lot we can use at the minute as the game hasn't been released, but when the game has been released I can see it being quite handy. Of course I don't expect ANYONE to actually pay if they don't want to because after all I am running the forums. This is mainly in response to people who have offered to help contribute to the forums.

HOW IT WORKS

Every now and again you have the option to buy things called credits which you spend to improve certain aspects of the forums. Here is a list of what the credits can be spent on:

Gallery Storage:

You can choose below, the additional storage you wish to get.

50 MB : 50 Credits
100 MB : 100 Credits
200 MB : 200 Credits
300 MB : 300 Credits
500 MB : 500 Credits

Advertisments:

You can choose below, the additional time during which ads will be disabled for your members and your guests.

Add 1 month(s) : 200 Credits
Add 2 month(s) : 400 Credits
Add 3 month(s) : 600 Credits
Add 6 month(s) : 1000 Credits
Add 12 month(s) : 2000 Credits

Custom Domain:

For 1600 credits you can have a personalized domain name for one year. You can at anytime delete it and retrieve your default domain name.

Actually, I just donated a small test amount, and the great news is - if you have a paypal account - it couldnt be easier!

Is it crass of me to ask how much money buys how many credits?

£29.92/ 34 EUR/ $44.88 =4000 Credits
£36.96/ 42 EUR/ $55.44 =5000 Credits

Since myself, Black Heart and Lunarwolf have contrubuted though, we've now got a grand total of 3193 credits! Thanks for the donations guys. I think thats more than enough for now.
