Absences

Thought this might be a good place to post any holdays or periods we'll be gone and likely not to be posting.

I'm doing the dutiful son thing and going to be away this weekend visiting my mum for Mother's Day (awww!) So I'll be gone from tomorrow (March 21) and returning Monday night (March 23).

Aye, makes sense.
(Though I think it'll need merging with Sureshot's "Out This Weekend" thread.

With that thought in mind, I'm going to pop 'Dark Secrets' on hold until Sureshot's return with an OOC thread I will remove upon his return.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on that much the past week but I'm having a well deserved break from work which I will be spending with the missus. I shall get back to the RP probably sometime this week.

I've been on holiday for 4 days in Germany, so that's my excuse But I'm back for a few days before I'm back on a plane!

Now i have done something incredibly stupid that i won't even mention here... But i will be gone for a month because of it. From tomorrow till 17 of may i won't be around.

Its nice actually.. I'll have allot of topics to read around here when i'm back>.> And a few new episodes of my favourite series.. but i'll miss you guys

I might be able to sneak in from time to time and type in the roleplay thread so no need to close that one or change it btw.

You know what it is, LDubs. And I'll be gone next week for a trip to Chicago to see my brother and all that. I'll probably stay in touch though, just not on ridicu-hours. And should I leave the Vent server up or would that make my computer blow up?

Off to Chicago eh? Any chance you could stow me away too? I'm 30 next month and never been abroad /sob. Where about in the 'states do you live if you don't mind me asking, BH? I'm guessing Chicago isn't just a 'trip down the road' otherwise it wouldn't really constitute going away!

Haha, yeah it's a bit of a trek. I live in Connecticut, New England, not far from New York City. "The City" as people I don't like call it. But I also went to University in Chi-town and I'm going to visit my brother there for a week or so. Great city, wish I could bring you with!

I dont know if this constitutes an "absence" but I wont be online into the wee small hours as usual this evening because I am gonna be on High Security Watch tonight as one of our residents has had a serious fall and needs round the clock supervision.

Alas his room is at the wrong end of the property to get wifi reception, so I wont be about.

Just a quick heads up that I may not be around much from today (06.05.09) till Tuesday (12.06.09) as I am having my first proper time off work in 3 years! (yes, my job does suck). I'll try and pop on obviously, but I'm leaving this post just incase I cant.
