| Yep, I agree. Perfect. Simple and shows what we're about. A shady guild that links the Republic and Empire together with it's work. Also fits nicely with the new Homepage. I applaud PJK! | |

So I'm not gonna be able to find words... Why is it that bad lol Thanks guys, well I think Harl hit it on the head I just wanted a simple respresentation that we worked for both sides and were shady without being overtly sithy, so i put both planets in and did a creepy green title in the middle of them. Also I had to stick flash in didn't I, I mean its in my name:P, In fact to give LW some credit I was just going to have both planets with that atmosphere effect that Dormund Kas has but LW suggested i do some clouds for Coruscant instead which turned out pretty great although if they were moving that fast nothing on Coruscant would survive

| Its only a little thing, but for some reason I really love the way that the header loads up static then the animation sort of 'fades in'. Makes it load dead professional.
ALSO: Someone besides Priory or myself need to say how great this new banner is in the Recruitment Thread!

| Thanks for the um "kind" words on the recruitment forum soude I made the thing and never noticed that, well its just a random filter called diffuse clouds but yeah I can see it too, no ones see the hidden "PJK for leader" message in it though | |

| That's positively GLOWING words coming from Soude, PJK! Incidentally, is anyone else finding that clicking on the banner opens a new page/tab every time, rather than just going back to the index page? Or is that just happening to me? | |

| Well its meant to do that *cough*, I'll quickly explain, the banner is usually hosted in a the "Header box" which when clicked brings you back to the main page, however the site wont host a flash file in the header box and becuase this is flash theres a problem. What I did was host it in the site description box which used to describe the site just below the old Header, now this means that any linkage will have to be inserted into the flash by me. Inserting a hyperlink is easy inserting one which links in the same tab is harder, i did try and manage to make it work so that it would open in the same tab but it would only work on the hosting site, when I tried it on my test forum it would link so I just left it as it was, I was going to try fix it but it was put up sooner then I thought :/ anyway I'll put the code up and anyone can have a look and try figure out a solution Soude managed to help last time with his lateral thinking so he might have a answer! The bold text is the important bit btw - Quote :
- stop();
this.addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, loading);
function loading(e:Event):void{
var total:Number = this.stage.loaderInfo.bytesTotal; var loaded:Number = this.stage.loaderInfo.bytesLoaded;
if (total == loaded){ gotoAndPlay(2); this.removeEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, loading); }}
import flash.events.MouseEvent;
function gotoAdobeSite(event:MouseEvent):void { var adobeURL:URLRequest = new URLRequest("http://www.agentsoftheepoch.org/forum.html"); navigateToURL(adobeURL); }
link.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, gotoAdobeSite);

| navigateToURL(adobeURL, "_self"); should work but doesnt for people finding that, you can always just use the index button guys and gals | |

| Yeah thats the option I've gone with - the power of the "Index" button. I'd just used to clicking the image is all | |
