| GameTrailers have revealed that this Friday at E3 that they will be showing a sneak peak at the making of a new TOR cinematic trailer! VIDEO SOURCE - Quote :
- "Get a behind-the-scenes sneak peak at the new trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic."
Whats the odds that this favours the Republic?

| Heh, at least we know there's one on the way. I hope the Trailer isn't the only reveal. I'm expecting a lot from them for this E3, especially with these comments from the devs: - SeanD wrote:
- Biographies is the foundation for something more... what exactly that is, I can't tell you quite yet. All I can say at this time is stay tuned; E3 2010 isn't that far away and we actually have some exciting (and new) updates for you before then.

- While we can understand some people may be frustrated, I want to say the vast majority of people will forgive us after E3 2010.

- All the major systems are in place now, which means art is going up by amazing milestones every time we hit a new build. All the art's coming in – this is a huge content game. It takes a tonne of time. We have more outfits, more species, more stuff than any other game would ever attempt. We're also starting to get the loot in, the gear and the equipment. We've got eight classes with all their different class stories, so it's not OK if by level 20 your trooper doesn't look like a trooper or your bounty hunter doesn't look like a bounty hunter, and instead it looks like everybody got drunk and went to the thrift store. That means we had to do more class specific art just for one class than many games would attempt in their entirety.
I love production. You come in and every day, or every week, something amazing came into the game. I am so excited for people to see the E3 build that it hurts me.

I think We've only seen the tip of the ice berg hopefully.... I secon LW's interrogation since I fear that the playable tip of the iceberg will be the smallest one[/quote] Well I am in two minds here the first is this: Doing lots of species will be difficult in some aspects for reasons such as modelling (clothing helmets etc) language (alein languages), number of voice recordings needed for the entire game (each species might needs its own voice actor and with 8 classes with 2 sexes with one voice each at least mutiply that with the umber of species you may have) and interation with other species (derogatory commnets about a species might be diffiucult and Bioware love to do these in Mass effect and Dragon Age) Second mind is that the way they've released the second species to me feels like they're placating the masses with a class but are saving up the best species till later, I dont expect alot of them but there will be some variety I expect. Third mind also says that the lack of intrest or updates on SWTOR regarding the second species eveal means they hold them in very little regard in comparionson to other aspects of the game...

| They could release the game with a set amount like 8 for example the release more species and charge you for them, but what I hope they don't do is limit the species to factions | |

| Saw this on Darth Hater today. At the bottom there is a teaser picture from the new trailer, clearly showing the Havoc Squad logo on what looks like a shoulder pad. I guess this means it'll be republic-focused, or even non-Jedi focused. | |

| Well I guess we all knew that this trailer would give the Republic some love. Really looking forward to seeing the Jedi Consular in action it has to be said. | |

| they couldn't limit the species to factions though cause then the people that just play human could be on either side. That and i mean aren't all the species on each side in sw? i mean except wookie i've never seen on imp xP | |

| Well the dude in Deceived used Force Lightning briefly so I guess they decided thats enough "Inquisitor" for a Trailer Plus if you pushed BW about they'd probably say the Twi'lek Companion (whos name escapes me) covers the Agent..... Lame, but likely. I agree it'd be ace if they did make an appearance, perhaps as cinematic adversaries? | |
