DA! I can't agree more... C&C and RA sounds were just so damn sweet^^ I remember the good ol' innocent days spent on those games.
Red Alert was some supreme stuf... rather disapointed with RA 3 though. All C&C went downhill after Westwood was bought out.
I love your sig btw...

Любэ "Младшая сестрёнка"
Translated, 'Little Sister'. Dunno why this song is wrongly attributed to Rammstein though...

They could have fooled me. Not sure I distinguish Rammstein from, well, anything in Romanian. Good song, though.

Well its not like RA3 had much plot...or gameplay.... yet it still sold well.
I wonder why? Oh hang on its would be
This
and this..
and this...
...and this...
and this...
this
this...
oh and this.
So, anyone else think they are playing up to a paticular audience?

Yes... certainly. It sold well just from the reputation Red Alert had.
I did think part of what made RA special though was the briefing babes... however they overdid it so much it was pretty crazy. Did you play RA 3? One bright spot was the American president... he was hilarious and his actor was a perfect choice.

Sorry to be a pain but this is slowly drifting off-topic. If this is a conversation you want to pursue further maybe one of you would like to start a C&C discussion thread?

If you're holding anything sharp (esp. if you're hungarian), put it down.

I think I'm having a bit of a psychotic "anything goes" music day today. I thought I'd dig out this old classic cover of a well known Nine Inch Nails track:
