| It is with great regret from the EPOCH officers that Caryington has decided to step down from his postion as Special Agent within the guild. Due to commitments with his first novel (which all of you will buy dammit!) he feels he can no longer continue as an officer of EPOCH . Even though we've tried our usual methods of torture and even WITH a payrise he remains relentless in his pursuit! On the plus side he will remain a Veteran Agent of the guild.
So guildies, Lunarwolf and I have been in discussion and instead of the normal democratic vote we fell it right that Tando is offered the Special Agent position. Along with our other Veteran Agent Harlequin (whom never wanted the position) he's offered constant support in our guild's cause, been the 2nd highest voted candidate twice, and been with us from the very start. You might say he's a true EPOCHian through and through but then I know the REAL Chris! (LOL, kidiing mate...honest!)
However, we want you to understand that as an Agent of EPOCH you ALL have the right to stand for election as an officer. EPOCH is quiite a democractic guild and as always, your opinion counts. So, I Leave it in your hands...
I've offered a poll for you all to decide what the best course of action would be.

| Yeah Mr C threw us a curve-ball with this one, but we do respect his decision. The fact he no longer has the 'net at work really doesn't help either, so its understandable with someone who is as much of a perfectionist as he is that he'd feel his pace would slow down and he wouldn't be able to keep up his level of commitment.
Still, as Sureshot has said he's not going anywhere, which is a great consolation.
With regards to the poll I voted to give the position to Tando as I think he thoroughly deserves it and the fact he was the only other person who stepped up to the task last time show's his commitment. Also he was so close behind Caryington in votes last time that they were almost neck-and-neck anyway.
That being said this IS a democracy and if people want to vote I'm more than cool with that as well.

| I agree with Tando as an officer. I think there isn't more suitable candidate among us rest | |

| There is only a slight mistake in what SS said as I've never been offered a payraise but my decision (which as been thought lenghty and carefully) is made. As already explained there this project is very important to me and for good reasons. So it's with the deepest regret that I decided to put EPOCH second in my list of life priorities.
As for who should succed me, I do belive Mr Alums is a good choice. He's proven his dedication to the guild, that he can chair mothly meetings and that he can not forget those (as I did ><') I also believe the guild is now very implied in recruitement and in this matter will need a recruitment officer which I don't want to be.
Any of these choices is fair to me and if there's a democratic vote, I'll vote Mr T for the haircut ^^,

| Sorry to see you go Carrington, although its just from an officer postion at least (not the Guild) I'd say Democratically I mean Tando might not want the role but maybe we should look at the system again on how we elect folks | |

| Sorry to see you step down Mr C, I know that you've done a fantastic job here as an Officer, the only good news is that your not leaving the guild as your creative mind would be a real loss to this guild. | |

| Why are there only 4 votes? Does any members actually log into these forums anymore?! I'm seriously debating sending out some inactivity warnings soon. Hmmph! | |
